I have often wondered about that. Sometimes I used to go a few days without shaving, and I was looked on as a bum. It might be traced to Don Johnson in Miami Vice or it might be traced to the Palestinian leader whose name escapes me now, but he won a Nobel Peace Price.

Well Brad Pitt is looking sexier, edgier and less boyish as he gets older (or since he hooked up with Angelina (not sure which), so Brad Pitt.

Sadly, this is my list. Put some pics in front of me and I could probably pick out three more, but none come to mind. Nevertheless, how interesting. Looking my list over, I notice how drastically my list has changed over the years. At 10 or 12 I used to collect pictures from Tiger Beat magazine and I had a collage of all the hot guys (imo) on my bedroom wall. This included loads of pics of Andy Gibb and Shaun Cassidy, mostly. For all intents and purposes, they were girly-men with barely a hint of facial, let alone chest hair. Thinking on this I recall that at the same time my brother (a year and a half younger) adored the likes of Jodie Foster and Kristy McNichol (tomboys).

Has your taste in men or women changed significantly since puberty or has it remained the same?

The above is simply an observation that I find intriguing about myself, and my life, but please feel free to share your experiences.

Added links to your post. I'm so out of it I had to google half of 'em to put the name and the face together. I've always tended to lust after fictional characters but not so much after actors themselves.

Still, for the poll, I'll wholeheartedly support Viggo, and I guess I'll throw in Daniel Craig. I've snored through all Bond movies up to Casino Royale, but he got my attention!

Jonathan Rhys Myers is the kind of beautiful one can't fail to acknowledge even if he's not to one's taste, so I guess he deserves a mention. I used to keep Jude Law somewhere in that category, though he admittedly has more going for him than just beauty.

Hugh Laurie? He has gotten hot with age. Used to be just goofy but is undeniably attractive now.

Come to think of it, I wonder how Eric Roberts is holding by now? Not so well, I imagine, but I feel an urge to confess I sat through a few B movies just because he had something sizzling sexy to me.

And that, I guess, is all I can think of. Oh, and among recent stuff, I, ah, noticed the guy who played a psychic detective in one of the run-of-the-mill TV series, The Mentalist. He probably doesn't belong in the top tier, but I'd happily keep him all for myself.

Like you, I liked a bit girlier men as a teen. My main crushes were David Bowie and young Robert Plant (though in both cases anachronistically, because they weren't that young by then.) I'm still indifferent to testosterone-on-wheels types like Vin Diesel, but I do like me some definite maleness.

Same here-- and, I also see the sexyness of feminine women more readily now than then.

Although I was there for Bowie's and Plant's prime years...

Ahh, well Viggo's was character related (Aragorn in LOTR was always kind of scruffy looking). He's pretty much clean shaven the rest of the time. The rest of them just look good with or without it, lol.
