hahah my boyfriend works with computers... no matter how fried he would be able to do something. Why do you lot not have surge protecters? you can get them as an adaptor... we have em on our tvs and our computersOh how BANDIT& I know what missery it is without the PC when we had a couple of deaths with the laptop by coffee & the pcr I think just reached it's life limit, it was old.
Hope the power is back soon, power failure is a big stresser for me when I'm on the machine for 8hoursso far we have been lucky with none.

...42C and the power goes out! Bah! I've already had to dispose of milk because my fridge wasn't keeping up with the hot weather. I hope my freezer foods are okay. It's such a pain (and expensive) having to toss a heap of food out.
I just checked the website - it'll be another hour or two until we get power back...perhaps it was 'gods' way of telling me I shoud get off the computer and do some excercise??
I hope everyone is well and coping with the summer heat

When they have less heatwaves than us. Do not like the dry heat.....at least with humidity you get a breeze and cool a little....well what I tell myself.
Plus.....it's full of southerners down there....smiles....

Good to hear it is shaping up pleasant for you.....saw the weather report and ground my teeth....25? 25c in sydney....we are having a cool change of 31C ....yeah right....the fact the weather beacon is at the airport where the sea breezes caress it constantly.....it is always more than that in from the bay.
Believe me the naked bit is not goodly....I believe there are Geneva conventions against my going naked ....something to do with unusual and extreme cruelty...

Hi Red ~ Nice to see you. Mmmm a nice breeze would be great in the summer time. Where I live, on the other side of the world it is still winter, yet that would do so much to lower the electric bills in summer. Don't get much of a breeze where I am.

yeah they are definately a good investment although i don't think they will help with the heat. They have saved us thousands of dollars numerous times. And hey kayte, i think i would gladly swap
