This is yet another hangout thread, where we can socialize, swap ideas, or just chill after RPing.

Hello, pull up a chair and say your mind friend. :)

Hello Veroe...such a lovely place. Please forgive me, but I've never really wandered into any of the lounge rooms.

Yeah these chill out threads are not really my type of scene either, but it is a good place to just shoot the breeze.

Anyway it looks like I'm converting some of the people here to the books of Joey Hill. You're not the only one who's told me they were going to check them out.

I hope you enjoy them.

If they're half as good as you make them out to be, I'm sure I'll love them. I'll just have to make sure they have the full set. I get a bit cranky when the next book isn't at my fingertips when I finish the previous one.

Lord I know how that is, The local bookstore here in town is infamous for getting me hooked on a series but not having any of the other books in stock except for the very latest like Book #4 but no sign of book #2 or #3.

I hate when that happens. I end up getting the one book..and then leaving it until I can oder the rest. Of course I walk by the single book everyday, and born with no patients, growl at the damn thing like it's taunting me.

Hello :rose:

I am hoping that I am a friend:)

I am just wondering where my co-writer is:eek::eek: and if he would prefer we put our current thread on hold?

Yeah then its a waiting game. I usually try to reread something when I'm waiting for an order to arrive-that way I can put that book down as soon as I get the new book at the store or in the mail from Amazon.com.

You are most definitely a friend, Yeishia.

To be honest I've gotten so many threads going on now SI Island has suffered in the quality and time dept. Vassal academy too though not so bad. Do you want to put SI Island on hold until we can resume with the attention it deserves?

Veroe I do believe you are streching yourself thin. :)

I wish I had your strength. I usually end up finding two sets of books I want to read, then if I have to wait for any I will at least be able to keep reading. I would love to reread many of my books, but the moment I try the whole story washes over me and there is no point in reading further.

I've kept my favorites though. That way when I'm very old and grey I hopefully will have forgotten the stories some and be able to reread them.

Swings through to check out Veroe's hangout with a grin at the conversation, ending up in a seat instead

I am waiting another week yet for my books to come in, but I ordered all I could at once.

Though I have a bad habit of not actually putting down a book once I start it, Christine Feehan's vampire romance are a prime example of that and I already know Joey Hill's will be the same or worse

laughs

I suppose there are worse addictions...

waves at Yeishia

I'm one of those rare people who can read two things alternately without getting them confused-like right now I'm reading a new Vampire novel for me called Dhampir at work and the newest star wars novel at home.

Hey LT good to see you.

I have been known to read up to 4 at a time, but I usually stick with one or two.

Right now I am reading a horror novel Lol

I generally have been known to read anything not actually nailed down, though westerns rate low on my interest scale.

Afternoon Veroe, I like your spot I think, its far more down to earth here I think

Well...not sure if ya consider me a friend, but I figured it would be polite of me to at least drop in and say hello... :)

Hello Ladythunder..and Wyld. :rose:

I read just about anything I can get my hands on...and have to agree that for the most part Westerns are kinda low on my list. Though there is a set by Julie Garwood that moves from the city to the west..and still manages to keep you turning pages.

Hi Daliha! Thanks to you for the welcome. Nice to be made to feel at home. *smiles*

Yes, well some how I don't think you are getting so little as you think...or you'd be kicking someone..or something.

I'm glad your day was good. I'll hope tomorrow flies by for you though. :)

*Leans over, giving you a friendly hug*
