Hey all!

Having a quiet night here so I have been reading back through the posts made in days gone by where if you blinked you had 10 or so pages to catch up on. Sure brought a smile to my face and jogged a few memories.

Everyone seems to have moved on (in some way that is awesome, but at the same time sad)

So I got to thinking... should we try to organise an aussie thread reunion?
In person would be fantastic but probably highly impossible - although I am up for it if anyone else is.. maybe we could schedule a night on here where we all jump online at a set time and get this thread rocking like it used to. Whaddaya say?

have been good, went to the tennis yesterday (friday) saw both women's semis and one of the mens quarters, was quality tennis, to which i shoved non quality food down my throat haha

seriously, they called THAT a hot dog? hahaha, half the reason you go to live sport though, the gourmet cooking

went to art gallery today with a friend, book ended it with lunch and a session at the pub, was nice

Evening all. What adventures have been keeping you contented this weekend? Been a good if tiring one for me. Good friends, good conversation, art, and a few drinkies....always puts a good spin on it for me.

So still here is Brisvegas tonight, could do with a lovely sea breeze or a lovely slave boy to fan me. Ah well, tis the ceiling fan for me then. One day I'll have success with this slave boy search. They are getting more difficult to find.....finding them hard would definitely be a good thing....

Hello Mr Gil...the delights of renal clinic. My girlfriend is a Renal Nurse up here. I did some workshops with the renal staff of the local hospital, good people as are all medical staff who use their hearts and souls when working with patients. It may be a chore but better to go through the machinations than the alternative.

Oh it seems to be muggy everywhere at the moment doesn't it? I would just love a constant temp of 25/26 for summer....am I asking too much??

I keep seeking that slave boy, elfy has gone awol and methinks with a firm and persistant "hand" he may take to the job with relish...smiles.....will wait for the bite there when he returns to delight us all with his "amusing" bon mots and bon nots.....laughs.

Hope it is not too muggy for your trip out tomorrow.

We are thinking of a trip to Surfers & would like to stay bit longer than 2 nights because needing to come home for dialysis so might get you to ask your friends if there is a dialysis unit we could use so we could extend our holiday.

It gets frustrating not being able to travel.

Imagine the problems with mother nature if the temps were that constant, plants wouldn't know when to grow, flower or produce seed. The birds & bees too would be lost, how would they know when to migrate to breed?

I have every confidence that you would be able to take elfy in hand to control him & educate him to be your slave boy.

Catching up with you is on our to do list for sure. Strange thing is we can't even dive up or down the coast here & find a place to stay for the cost of the flight & motel deals we can get. I did hear about a campervan with built in dialysis unit for hire in NZ but so far no real info on it.

I used to love the heat & sun with most of my work history is outdoors but these days I avoid the heat & humidity.
