BBW is 'big beautiful women' although I hate the term because not all big women are beautiful same as not all skinny minnys are either. We have come up with a few nicer terms on the thread rubenesque, curvy, goddess like....

I suppose BBW can stand for anything you want it to really lol. As for what do you have to be? I suppose thats all in the eye of the beholder. I am definately on the bigger side of big so some may actually class me as ssbbw which just makes me want to curl up and die.

Anyway. Its all a matter of persepective and choice.

All so. i was just thinking, while some gals be they big or little may not be beautiful in face or even body they could be one of those people that are so beautiful in spirit that they draw people to them becuase the energy they put off is so good and posotive. It's just that no one gets to no a person before judging them pretty or ugly. and thats just really sad. don't you think so? i dont know it just made me think is all.

You know what wether a woman is ssbbw, bbw..or just fuller figured or whatever title..a beautiful woman is simply just that..a beautiful woman. Celebrate what ever title it is you think you are. I'm a size 18-20 i'm like 5ft 1in..some bbw's i know say i'm not bbw..i'm rubenesque..and the guys at work call me "Voluptuous" LoL Whatever..i'm comfortable with who i am whatever title. I guess it's not what people label me, it's what i label me.

So be who you are..and if people don't like it..that's THIER personal problem girlfriend!

As someone who is classified as an SSBBW myself, I agree with you Fiona. That term is just horrid. I think of myself as voluptuously fluffy.

So be who you are..and if people don't like it..that's THIER personal problem girlfriend!

I've read some very good explanations of what BBW means but I think most of the women (and the men that like them) agree, it's a stupid title.

The women are simply beautiful.

I never knew what a BBW was til I joined Lit. I just always thought I was attracted to women that idn't fit the "barbie-doll" mold.

I have to admit though that I like the "voluptuously fluffy" tag!! LOL

Tbh, I don't hate bbw's, but I am not the biggest fan.

I must say I am shallow enough to say that if I kinda liked a woman by only speaking to her, and then found out she was 2 or 3 times my weight, I don't think I could be with her.

But it's not just heavy girls! Girls that are too skinny are sometimes not very nice.

I guess I just like the in-the-middle curvy girls. So if I were to use celebrities, so that people can subjectively compare:
