I want to delete a story I submitted to Literotica, but the "pending" is grayed out.

It is usually blue, then you can click on it to make changes.

I just deleted two stories because I want to make changes to them, but I cannot touch
this particular one.

Uh? Does this mean something?

Also, should it bother me that "anonymous" made a comment that I write like a "sixth grader".
Should that bother me?

I do get excellent "Emails" from nice people, but damn, I just had to delete all those bad
comments on my stories. They are a few days old now, and fading away, so I just deleted
all the comments.

One time, about a year ago when I wrote under the name "SapphicOne", a guy actually got
pissed that I deleted his negative comment and wrote several more negative ones.

Which I hope you quickly deleted as well. This is about all the sweet revenge you are going to get on that. And if they come back, you know the erasing is worthwhile--that they are really tied in knots.

This is so true. Stories are all about evoking emotions, so regardless of anything else, you achieved that!

As to the original question, sending a pm to Laurel letting her know you want that particular one deleted should take care of it.

If "Pending" is grayed out, look at the date next to it. If there is a date there, that means that the story has been pre-approved, and will appear at midnight EST on the date listed.

Laurel sometimes pre-approves stories ( though this happens more often with chapters of a story all added to the queue at once ) -- perhaps to cover a night where she knows that she's going to have limited time.
