Yep. Woke up to this. Merry Christmas, everybody.

Ooo! Pretty. We just have rain and ice here...it's supposed to melt all our white away. :(

greeting and best wishes to all.

there's a light dusting of snow here. peaceful. joy and peace to all.

'pure'

It looks something like that in the hills above town. However, most of us down here are addressing the user interface of a snow shovel.

Cool pic, Liar. Merry Christmas to you and yours. :D

We're skedded for t-storms tomorrow, then the sun returns.

That picture brings back memories.

Right now it's raining and 72°. Tomorrow it's supposed to be around 75° with T-Storms.

Cat

Freezing rain and ice here.

Roads are bad, all church activities were canceled for the evening, with worse predicted for tomorrow.

We're into the second day of blizzard warnings.
The warning continues until 6 p.m. tomorrow night and authorities are advising everyone to stay home except for emergency situations. We're snug and safe despite the 50 MPH wind gusts and the bitter cold. On the other hand, the kids couldn't care less about outside - we open presents tomorrow!

Everything is ready - we're relaxing. We built outside shelters for the strays, so other than forcing the front door open past the snowdrifts in the morning to put out food for the critters we're staying inside.

Merry Christmas!

:rose:

Stay safe and warm. I was looking at the weather map and thinking of you...that part of this system is just not moving at all. We're expecting flooding here from all the rain and melting snow, but nothing too serious I don't think. I'll be keeping you and anybody else who's stuck in that mess in my thoughts and hoping it clears up at some point soon. :rose:

even with rain it will still be a white christmas... just need to be able to make an early morning run to my sweetie --- please, no freezing rain!

Yep. Woke up to this. Merry Christmas, everybody.
Yeah, but you're like in that Netherlands part of the world ain't ya? I mean, isn't it always like that 24/7? And there's like vikings and Wagnerian operas and guys dressed as Death who play chess?

Round here it's still cold, but now it's wet.
There's traces of snow on some roofs but that's it - apart from the mournful skies.

Stay safe, folks.

You forgot the polar bears.

Actually, I live in narnia. But don't tell anyone.

We got rain and sleet yesterday afternoon and then turned to snow last night. It's still lightly snowing and is supposed to continue that way through tomorrow.

Merry Christmas, everybody!
