We were positive that the homoerotic PSP shooter Cho Aniki Zero would never make it out of Japan, but Aksys Games proves us wrong, bringing the fight against Balzac II to North America next spring.

We were so positive Cho Aniki Zero wouldn't make the trip overseas that we gave it the "Only in Japan" tag, certain that a game featuring muscle-bound snowmen with smaller snowmen jutting from their groins wouldn't fly stateside, but there you go. Not only is Aksys making it available as a digital download from the PlayStation Store this Spring, they are using words like thrust and poled to announce it.

The game features five levels of shooting action, in which players choose between Idaten and Benten, pick a giant, muscled sidekick, and then go to town, collecting Man Protein so they can fire off their Men's Beam in order to defeat the evil forces of Emperor Balzac II. What more could you possibly want?

This is great news. One homoerotic game down, about a thousand to go. Not only is it official, its cumming on a major platform. So this is like a major release compared to the little squirts that get shot out for the PC once every few years. To celebrate this orgasmic occasion, listen to this song while looking at the pictures. It should get you excited even if you don't like video games.

hmmm I do not see anything cool about Cho Aniki. The issue here is, that being gay in Japan is like "oh my goodness you know a gay ? hey let me meet the person", but enough bollocks about that. Cho Aniki (the shooter part of the series) is actually a pretty solid shooter. I have not played the 2d fighter game of the series. But the shooter series is pretty solid, even though it is an extremely homoerotic game series. But it is still a fun shooter, even Imockery says that. And the game series is older than you think, heck this series is from the old console days of the console PC Engine back in 1992, but the game series has had many games, and also it is spread out on to many consoles.

But wikipedia has an article about the series. But it is not there I got my info about the game.

Of course said game would have to have a decent backstory about her character, a simple action/adventure side-scrolling brawler won't suffice. But we know that will never happen, the least they could do is put her in Super Street Fighter 4.

well I am one of those VGP´s who knows a thing or two about the crazy games that come out of Japan. So let me be honest about all this. There are tons of games that are not crazy , coming from Japan. And also as I have already written before, then being gay in Modern Japan is .. well read my former quote. But back in the day of ancient Japan being gay or bisexual was not looked bad upon. So back to basics, the mainpoint of this thread was Shywong showing that a very homoerotic game from Japan was getting a western release. So let us do something I personally rarely do, stick the topic ! That is why I posted another game related with homoerotic theme to it, in the same thread. Not anything else
