As a writer that's new to both writing and posting on this site, I'm in need of someone to look over my work and give me the room to expand my knowledge and writing skills. Strangely it seems that the editor finder doesn't work and editors are now very thin on the ground. I write about F/F themes which covers a wide range of topics, also I write for my own pleasure and have a small collection of stories to show a prospective Editor. My stories seem to fit quite nicely into the fetish group of stories and I would hope to keep in touch with an editor for some time.
My reasoning is simple, I need a hand with my writing as I have been doing this for a few months but I would like my stories to be more structured in order to make them more readable. I believe The right Editor would help me in my quest. I have already had two stories posted so please read and understand my problem. I feel to continue in my present state would be ill advised! I only wish to move forward with my writing!

Please help!

"Editor" isn't a proper word, so don't feel the need to capitalize it.

Post us a few paragraphs for us to read, yeah?

First you'll want to be sure you have your PM's turned on so others can contact you.

Posting a few paragraphs is your choice, but not a requirement by all means. Not everyone is comfortable putting parts of their stories out for everyone to read.

What will help is approximate word count for the piece you want edited. Someone might not have time to edit a novel, but they may be able to fit a 10k piece into their schedule.

As for the editors list, though the intent was good, it is outdated. Beginning a thread as you did or searching through the available editors for the current month here in the EF are better options.

Good luck with your search and your writing.

If you'd like to send me something, I'll be happy to give you feedback. Contact me at not allowed

I believe if you check the site rules, e-mail addresses aren't allowed in posts.

I will agree that personal email addresses are not allowed to be posted in the forum, although may be shared in a PM.

I will also agree that a "few paragraphs" also need not be shared, although can be if desired.

Best yet, when seeking the assistance of an editor, word count is most helpful.

Just repeating the obvious here.

Read the sticky, you'll see all of the "rules".
