you have to understand, this is not for you to request an editor. To do that, check this thread and send a private message to an editor that has made themselves available here. This is an editor specific thread (I shouldn't be posting here either), where they compile a list of who is available this month.

You can start your own thread, and ask for an editor there. Someone will get back to you. To do that, do as GypsyRose did and begin a new thread like this:

Rookie Editor willing to try and help!

Hello everyone,
I am interested in being a VE but I am a Rookie....so please keep expectations in check. I do write myself but nothing is published (yet)

- note added 12/18 -
my 1st story was recently rejected for stupid mistakes...it will be corrected soon, but I have learned a lesson or 2!!

So...If you are a budding author who doesn't mind a "rookie" reviewing your work, PM me and lets talk.

Also, if there are there any experienced editors willing to take on an apprentice let me know. My experiences on LIT have been great and I am looking to expand.
