Milestone!!!! Achievement!!!! Omfg!!!

Lulu took steps ALL BY HERSELF just minutes ago!!! She stood up off my lap and proceeded to take two steps to the couch. Of course I screamed and applauded. Then I scooted further back and pulled her back on my lap and she stood up and took THREE steps all by herself. Repeated the process again and she took FOUR steps, then FIVE steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! My baby will get to toddle to the Christmas tree to open her presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have said that so many times already. She can't crawl because of her condition, but she scoots on her bottom and she scoots FAST!!! The number of times I've caught her digging pieces of food out of the dog dish is impossible to count. Not to mention all the bowls of water she's dumped over. At least now she warns me with a really loud "UH-OH"

It will be one of your favorite memories ever. You'll have a lot more to look forward too.

I have over 100 pictures from the following: Her first birthday, the Monarch Butterfly Festival, Thanksgiving and Halloween combined, as well as hundreds of thousands of pictures just shot on regular old days.

I find that in the house it's actually more effective to wear socks, get a running start, and then slide the rest of the way to reach her more quickly than she can reach trouble.

I still feel cheated some days that she had to spend so much time in the hospital...and then I long for when she was so tiny and helpless. *sigh* I miss cradling her. She already thinks she's too much of a big girl for that now.
