I love black and ceramic blades. I'm using a black kris dagger for more ceremonial parts or as introduction.

and a Gerber Applegate Fairbairn Covert Fast for the..real action.

(and a 3ft steel sword for the 'better stay in your position if you don't want to impale yourself" parts).

I wonder though if the lack of reflection (or the lack of association with a dangerous weapon) compared to traditional steel blades makes black or ceramic blades less...exciting for the pyls. Opinions?

mine is something that looks like more or less a butter knife, but it's electrified when I use it.

Why? The long blade? (Back to the evergreen: Does length matter?) The tip? Japanese characters? White handles? What do you like about it?

i like the long thinner blade. most of my large kitchen knives have wider blades, and i like the delicacy of the sushi blade. i also love the artistry in sushi. the quick thin slices. they are clean. they are sharp. they are also very simple. i love the wooden handles and how they feel against the skin as compared to plastic or metal.

A lover of mine had a rape fantasy. One evening, I satisfied her desires with a lockback . . .

It's mechanical features make specific sounds that are unmistakable. Further, the stainless steal blade catches and reflects the light extremely well. Of course, it's size is very formidable.

See, that one's hot. I like simple, solid lines.

I think I'd also prefer something on the smaller side, simply for that 'up close and personal' factor.

Razorblades, what else?

Though some of the toys you all are describing are beautiful and bringing all sorts of intriguing images to mind.

A smaller knife doesn't have the same . . .

"Click." The situation required something to make a statement that was clear and distinctive.

BTW, with a little urging, my lover warmed right up this beauty.
