What a weird term, I think they are trying to merge lesbian with satanic to have the reader envision some kind of horror movie. Or am I thinking to negatively of some conservatives? Perhaps they were trying to merge lesbian with mechanic? Maybe she was afraid that lesbians give dangerous tools to children before they have mechanical dexterity to work with them -- thus the scaring for life.

Whatever it is, people who loved the Cheneys have too much time on their hands if they are worried about lesbianic households.

For me the "connotation" of the word lesbianic conjures some poor, backwards religious fanatic seeing a correlation between lesbianism and satanic worship.

Invision a televangelist saying something like:

"There were women present with inappropriate haircuts, no makeup, no dresses. They were dancing, singing, and drinking herbal teas. To top that off there were NO men present!!!

Actually a word that I think may be better, sounds more artsy, and has no negative context:

lesbianesque.

In my mind it conjures up the idea that parts of the lesbian culture have been excepted as main stream -- which I think would be a good move just like it would be for gay men. For instance, while I have been in gay choruses in the past. I tend to like more of the music done in lesbian choirs. I think it would be cool if that music had wider appeal instead of . OMG, that is a GAY singing group -- go run and get the holy water and then bury it.

Actually, I'm shocked that I just found out that "lesbianesque" exists in the urban dictionary. It means acting like a lesbian, but not actually being one. The example given was:

"Wow this kissing game is so lesbianesque!"
