LB does have a history with trips to Manly, several of us from the first real G&G took a trip on the ferry after a great social afternoon eating & drinking at a pub in the Rocks. LB from the west & Tulip from NY both dipped legs into the water sparking several camera flashes. Fantastic memories but sadly many of those Aussie thread ppl have moved on.

i am unfortunately faced with a situation i am no longer emotionally equipped to deal with.

ups and downs

Hi All, still call in every so often to keep track of what my friends have been up to, really up and down visit this time with the sad news that WQ wont be returning. The place wont be the same with out your gorgeous, I am sure you have your reasons and trully wish you all the best.
on the upside is a visit from LB where she refers to her " Mr Forever man" that has such a wonderfull feel to it. also nice to see a few posts from people who have been away for a while as well as the few that still post more regular and keep the site open for the rest of us...... and now my own news..
I am now engaged and couldnt be happier, I was even down on my knees when I propsed...... I had been doing some fibergalssing on the boat and was knealing down scrubing my hands clean with Acetone when my partner said she was heading out to do some shopping, so I asked her to pick up and engament ring while she was there LOL. no dates for the big day yet but it will just be a tiny event with family we think.

We are inside with all doors and windows shut and portable aircon and fan going. Gil is on dialysis machine so the aircon is in the bedroom.

I opened the door a crack and held my hand against the fly screen mesh - and promptly shut it again...I believe if i went outside I might not make it back in!

Back to 21C tomorrow, can't wait!

Hi mate all is well here near the coast but feeling for those not near the water

I guess those on the global warming side will blame that or it's just another variant of the ever changing Mother Nature, I don't know but I'm glad I had the aircon keeping me cool LOL I even had all the bed covers pulled right up covering me.

Miss Evil, No holidays for us but life is good here.
