Dixie I just want to thank you for starting this thread. And to all the gals that helped this thread by posting, well a HUGE thank you to as well. And am glad that ya are not going to close the thread, this is too important of an issue, it is an ongoing everyday battle for sooooooooo many people. and as it's now 11:58 pm my time here in Maine, I want to once again thank everyone for helping to bring awarness to this terrible terrible disease , for the month.
And ok um now those last pics Dixie, it's official you must make a trip up here, ya know for medical reasons, yeah thats it medical hehehehehehe

Well I see from another thread that ya had a blast at the races, cool cool.

So heres an easy way for everybody to remember to check themselves out, a local tv station does promos for breast self checks on the 3rd, they have a couple of the lady anchors do them, they call it the buddy to buddy thing. Ya find a friend and call each other on the 3rd and remind each other to check yourself. So yeah I know I'm a day early but hm have ya squeezed ya bewbies yet

I love that idea!!! To be totally honest, I check almost every day. Maybe its because I'm a little over-cautious, or maybe its because I like to feel my boobies...I don't know. Either way, it works! I've caught several "issues" already and got them taken care of before they became real problems! Yea me!

Actualy I was watching the local news and it's today is feel ya boob day

all about early detection...since we don't have much in the way of prevention right now, early detection is all we got...so, I encourage everyone to enjoy practicing early detection! (daily if you can!)

Sounds good to me...I don't understand why more people don't do it...its important & it feels good. If you're uncomfortable doing it for yourself, let somebody else do it! My husband doesn't mind when he gets to help out!
