Howdy Ya'll!
This thread will be open to everyone that wants to post their cold weather grub that warms up the soul.
I made this today, some of you may have had it before, some may not. Enjoy!
Brown the ground beef with the onion in at least a 12qt dutch oven until the meat is well browned.
Drain excess oil from ground beef and return to stovetop.
Add all ingredients except dry ranch dressing and bring to a slow simmer while covered.
Take dry ranch dressing and mix with hot water in a glass then stir until smooth, add mixture to soup then cover with lid and simmer for 1 hour 10 minutes stirring every 30 min.
Delicious with tortilla chips or cornbread.

* 1 huge yellow onion, chopped
* 1 can pinto beans
* 1 can red kidney beans
* 2 cans whole kernel corn
* 2 cans stewed tomatoes
* 1 can Rotel tomatoes
* 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix (Mild or Hot)
* 1 pkg hidden valley ranch dressing(dry)
* 2 1/2 cups water or more
