This morning I received a phone call from work.
It seems they had decided to do a pot luck tomorrow in work. They weren't suggesting I bring anything in, (The hell they weren't,) but they did want me to know about it. (They usually forget to mention these things to me and I show up empty handed while others walk in carrying food.)
Well I thought about it for a few minutes and decided to bring in a caserol.
A simple recipe for something that tastes great.
1 pound Hamburger
2 medium Onions
1 clove Garlic
Elbow Macaroni
House of Tsang Szechuan Sauce to taste
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
3 cups Fancy Shredded
Dice both onions but keep them seperate. Mince the Garlic. Saute one Onion and Garlic in a Fry Pan. Drain the oil. Add the ground Beef and roughly 1/4 cup of the Szechuan Sauce. Brown the beef. Taste. If the meat isn't spicy enough for you add a bit more sauce and simmer a bit longer. Drain and set to the side.
Cook the Macaroni Al Dente.
Add the Meat and Macaroni to a Caserol Dish. Mix in one cup of shredded cheese. Bake at 350°F for ten minutes. Top with remaining two cups of cheese and bake for ten minutes or until the cheese has melted and is slightly golden brown.
