What does "moved" mean?

Wrote a question earlier about a story I submitted which I believe may contain questionable content and wanted to know if I was correct in my beliefs (worries), and see now that, although it is still here, the question has been "moved". Does anyone have any idea where questions that may be too objectionable are sent when they are "moved", or does "moved" really mean "removed"? Thanks for any help you have that you can send my way.

The SDC has rules and mods. Requests to post a story here go into the queue. This isn't the correct forum for asking a question on content. I don't know where your post went, since I haven't looked, but there are possibilities. Check the Story Feedback, Editor's Forum, or the AH. You can also check your own profile for threads you posted, and find it from there.

Your thread was moved here (found by clicking on your profile and clicking find threads by). The redirect link is usually left up for a couple of days so the original poster can find where it was sent to. This is the only way a mod can alert the thread poster if that member does not have private messaging enabled.

Generally, unless a thread is about theme topics central to writing or an actual story discussion, it will get moved to a different, more appropriate forum.
