This is a smart woman. While ES also has a point, you shouldn't be looking for a cookie every time you take out the trash, I do actually ask people what they like so I know more about them.
If you are being asked for information, be up front about it.

If i was given the choice, i used to ask for things like a photo or an email (I loved his words) or a shirt of his or asked him to share something about his life that I didn't know.
That was whilst we were in an ldr/online.
I almost used to feel guilty being given a reward. It was like I didn't deserve or need one and my mind would go completely blank lol. But you are being given one because it pleases her to reward you. Eastern Sun is right, make the most of it!

Really though, things I value as rewards tend to be a good cuddle, a 'well done, baby', my choice of dinner and some downtime, a hot bath while he washes my hair, stuff like that.
Granted, not ones you can do in an o/l situation... but you find things that you'd like, that would indeed be a treat. A special sweet, dinner, using a particular bubble bath
D) or watching an episode of a tv show you enjoy, or a movie, or a special email... Something nice.

My initial reaction to the first person was "whoa, since when do slaves get to ask for rewards" and, even if that was a little off-base, consider maybe it's a test and she's looking for you to say "whatever you desire to give me" or something of that ilk. If you can't think of anything, start with that and earn some brownie points, then come back here if she asks again

Its exactly what I used to do with my D and its drove him potty.
Sometimes if I had behaved really well or done a task well and he was pleased he would tell me I could ask for something. Those times were few and far between though.
But one thing was for sure; If he told me to choose...he wasn't playing games or testing. He meant choose.

This is interesting, I've never asked what rewards my slave would want. I like to come up with those rewards myself, but it can be a challenge to invent interesting things. I have had her do the dinner with her telling me about it afterward and it worked out well, she enjoyed it. I will watch this thread with interest.

*giggles* Once again my experience mimics minxie's.
Usually Jounar will have something in mind that he wants to give me for one reason or another (I did something exceedingly well, I surprized him with something and he was super impressed, and the like) These are always things way over the top, above and beyond the call of duity, or they could just be because he is in a rare mood to spoil me (extreamly rare). So when he tells me to choose my reward for the night, he means for me to choose.
But he's usually like that with everything he asks me. If he asks me a question, he wants my openion, not some generic bow to his power. He would get hella pissed when I would answer, "what ever you wish to give me love". That was also the case if he asked me if I'd like to be spanked (or what ever) and I answer "If you would like to spank me"....major issues.
He said asking me a question was like any order. He wants my imput, not just to hear his fed back to him wraped up in praise.

You must have some unfulfilled fantasies. Seems like if she were your dom then maybe she could deny you from cumming and then get the reward of being allowed to cum if you obey her. I really am naive about this online stuff. I really have no idea how it works or what you do. Seems like your options would be limited compared to having the real thing.

The trick is how to word the answer to the question. If she is asking you to name three things you would like as a reward answer her honestly. But word it something like "My greatest reward would be your satisfaction with my obedience. I have though fantasized about someday being able to see pictures of you....(I would be a bit more specific to what you exact want as far as increase in sexuality)" follow it with " You are a beautiful woman yada yada yada.." Then continue with "but I will obey you whether I get a reward or not"
You get to tell her what you want but with a dose of humility and keeping in your place.
Though as a disclaimer...in the 4 1/2 years I have been with my PYL he has never asked me what I want. He tends to find out in around about ways which I am much more comforatable with.

I have to agree with minx and extaticsub. When I ask a question I want an honest answer, but part of me asking a question is the comfort factor. I always try and push that comfort zone and asking a question that challenges that works quite well.
I like to find out things about my slave with the round about means, but as I said pushing that comfort zone has its benefits. The only real advice I can give has already been stated, answer the question honestly but with respect.

If you can ask for this without sounding like a dicktugging sleazeoid, more power to you. The above would work well.
I tend to have a brain. If a particularly good boy asks for photos of me they tend not to be at a family picnic. She probably gets it - if you ask for something that feels like she's playing strip poker for obedience, she may not look kindly on it.

I dont know. If I am in "relationship" with someone I decide I can trust enough to show myself (I dont mean my classic bday party pic with my kids now), I tend to send such photos without him asking. If he would particularly ask for pictures of me naked that would mean I didnt show them yet and there was a reason for that. The answer would be no.
Its just the way my mind works though.
