I scrolled back a bit to see what you might be referring to...didn't find it...
But you made me think...
I am working on volume three of a novel of early humans transitioning from nomad, hunter gatherers, to the next step, call it what you may. But a new area and era, wherein they might begin building 'traditions' on top of the 'legends' and chants they carried with them from the past.
I think there is a possible division between those 'tribes' that have a rich background in 'worship' of 'deities' and those who form legends of tribal leaders or great men, who performed great deeds.
Of course, I am going with 'great men', but should have anything to say about 'gods' or other beliefs, I would like to hear.
