OMG! There's water falling from the sky! VM, Safe_Bet, Stella! Is it just in my area of SoCal or are you seeing this, too? WTF?

:eek::eek::eek:

There was water from the sky this morning in my part of San Diego! I'm confused!

Fortunately I came here from Seattle, so I had some vague recollection. My cat panicked near to death, the poor thing.

There was fluffy frozen water falling from the sky this morning. Fuckityfuck.

I don't know if weather patterns have changed that significantly since I lived there, or if the LA basin is just that different, but in Santa Barbara, when it started raining in the winter time, it rained for fucking days and days and days. Never really hard rain, but it was so constant that you never felt dry.

Okay. That's just freaky and unnatural! Do you think it has anything to do with the Super Collider?

Clearly, this is a wide spread phenomena. Should we call the Governator? Ask him to declare a state of emergency? There are puddles on the ground for heaven's sake!

Better alert FEMA. Chiuahuas may start drowning.

I don't think he can help you. There is water falling from the sky in the Sackamenna arera even as I type this!

 You think that's funny? Chihuahuas are a vital part of our economy! Feeding them, pampering them, special designer bags for their owners to carry them around in! Hollywood's having a bad year. We can't lose the Chihuahuas as well!

Luckily for us, Snuggles here is prepared.

ACK! Noooooo! It can't have spread that far! You mean even the State Capitol is going under? Swim, Arnold! Swim!

Bah! Weather is all sorts of wet and gray and yuck in Riverside County. What is this crap? Where is my warm California sun?

It's been raining here all day. (Actually, it's rained here more than it hasn't lately, which isn't usual.) I'm far away from CA.

Nothing unusual about descending water, folks.
It's all perfectly natural and is a necessary part of the eco-system.
Those who have to be out of doors are advised to go to their nearest store and seek a "rain - coat" of suitable size at prices to suit all pockets.
As a short term alternative, the following link might be of help:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umbrella
These items are also available in your local store.

And a message from the Animal Welfare people: Dogs & cats have a natural defence against rain and do not need an extra coat.

Sheesh! All this water and not a salmon in sight. I blame Global Warming.
...aaaaand THEY'RE OFF! Voluptuary Manque breaks first out of the gate and moves to the rail heading into the first turn! On the far right, Trysail and Amicus in an early sprint! They remain outside the pack, even though the track seems muddy on the fringes! From the left side, Lance GT drives ahead, hooves throwing huge clods of earth in all directions!

Yeeaaahh Me! It pays to be a leftist running on a track that turns left, lol

On the news channels I am seeing videos if I5. It is flooded enough that cars are driving through water almost up to their headlights. I don't know how they keep running.

I guess I overdid the rain dance last weekend.

Ground still needs saturating here though. I say, let it poor, keep your chihuahuas geared up, and watch for mud slides if your back yard burned last month. (You all did straw the hillsides above your homes, didn't you?)

And yes...5" rainfall/hr in some communities...streets are flooding.
wait...5? that had to be a rumor...maybe 2

Good God!

What good are condoms going to do? I heard the same argument from someone who told me I needed rubbers because it was wet out.

This is a myth!
