How about a little Halloween Fun: Post two things about yourself, in no particular order, and let everyone guess which one is the true 'treat', and which one is a delicious little 'trick' on everyone--post as many times as you want in the next 2 weeks, and on Oct. 24th, everyone go back to your posts, click 'edit', and add the answer as to which one is true. Here, I will kick it off:
1) I was once a model
2) I was once a man
A) When I was 9 I wrote a neo-Greek epic that was published
B) When I was 13 I wrote a letter that was published in Penthouse

1) I went to a Marilyn Manson concert just to be a body guard for a little girl who want to be up next to the stage, but didn't want to be crushed by the crowd. I locked my arms on the railing on either side of her and took the brunt of the pressure of the crowd behind us so she was never touched.

2) I once caused an auto accident while riding my bicycle by throwing a water bottle at a driver because the passenger yelled at me as they passed, startling me. The throwing of the bottle was completely reflexive.

1. When I was 16, I took a vacation to LA with my family. We were walking along Hollywood Blvd at night, and I got a little distracted by looking around at everything. A group of 3 guys in their 20s approached me, mistaking me for a prostitute I guess, made some crass remarks on my appearance and then asked me how much I would charge to take all of them on at once.

2. When I was 19, I worked part-time at Macy's in Valley Fair mall in San Jose. One night after we closed up, I got on the elevator so that I could go to the employee lounge, clock out, and go home. A guy a few years older than me, who worked in the stockroom, got onto the elevator with me. It was just the two of us. As soon as the elevator doors closed, he grabbed me and tried to shove his tongue down my throat. I managed to get him off me and ended up calling in sick the next day, then eventually quit rather than say anything because I was too young/naive/scared.
