I travel a lot and have many overnight stays in hotels in many different parts of the world. Often when I get home to my hotel room at night preparing to sleep there is a couple next door starting to have - often very loud - sex. Sometimes it annoys me, because I want to sleep, but often I get very aroused by it.
I would love to hear your experiences from hotels, and particularely if you find differences from what you experience in hotels in different parts of the world.

I seldom see the couples, but at breakfast I try to guess who it was among the guests in the restaurant and I wonder if some of you out there do the same?:)

I have had this happen several times, here is an interesting one.

It was several years ago. My wife and I were staying in a small hotel in a small town in the midwest.

When we checked in, we found out there was only 1 room left in the hotel, which had less than 30 rooms. The clerk said they had a wedding party there (it was a Saturday night). My wife jokingly asked if we were next to the bride & grooms room, the clerk paused, and said, ummm, yes.

Then the power goes off, which means the AC and the fan is off. Suddenly, no background noise (except for the storm), and then the sounds from the other room. (Yes, beds back to back against the wall).

The bride was wailing while groom pounded away for 15 minutes or so. The bed was rocking and knocking the wall. I nudged my wife awake, she smiled, and gave a little laugh, then fell back asleep. I had an other interesting experience recently, when I went to Aalborg in the northern part of Denmark. I travel about 65% of my life so I spend most of my life in hotel rooms so I've heard and seen quite a bit (like the bachelor and bachelorette parties that were next door to each other and naked people kept skirting between the rooms).

The best I can remember though was a few months ago I was in Poland and it was around 1:30am and I couldn't sleep. Hi Tal - nice idea - wonder how succesful that will be....... I have just spent two nights in Brussels in a very nice hotel - no action the first evening, but the second evening around midnight the action started - I think it was a Dutch couple and it sounded as if they were doing it on the desk in the room - quite loud and actually it was the guy who was the loudest - to my experience it is often the women who are loud, so this was a different experience, but very nice.
