No, it's just a nice milestone. Nice round number.

I thought it was silly at first but you can make friends there and follow interesting people. And it's a good way to pimp a blog or website.

Twitter is sort of like a message board...but on steroids. It moves fast and depending on who you follow, the topics vary. I follow people interested in discussing politics, we tweet a ton of stuff back and forth: comments about current events, articles, video or whatever. Since the school year started, I don't have as much time to dick around on Twitter but it's fun and addicting.

I also enjoy tweeting music too. Blip.fm and tunewiki are really fun. You get to play DJ and spin tracks with a bunch of other people and blip your songs to the Twitterverse for all your followers. Another addicting thing!
