Post-apocalyptic fun (ic)

Xaphia smiled, Ashlynn, that was a nice name, she just wished she could tell her that, a pity. She pointed to the both of them and indicated upwards, trying to ask if they could go above ground, then she took her hand and started leading her over to the stairs, turning back to her on occasion to give her a smile. Xaphia felt safer underground, it was as familiar as she could get outside of a vault, but she had lived without a sky her whole life, so the simplicities of the night sky that would be above them if she followed captivated her.

*******************************************

Blue didn’t hang about, he didn’t need anything from the supply officer, what he needed was an empty room and some time, two things readily available in your standard abandoned and ruined city. He carried her in to one ta the end of the block, close enough to the encampment that he could let his guard down a little, but far enough to not be disturbed.

He took her upstairs and sat down on the bed, laying her down over him before letting the power coupling slide out of his wrist and connect up with her again, feeding power in to her like a blood transfusion. From what he figured, she was running one of the old prototype cores, instead of the insanely powerful one housed in his chest, designed to act as a bomb if need be, helping power her up was an easy task for him.

“You’d better appreciate this” he said to her, not expecting her to hear him “I could be off collecting my bounty, but no” he sighed and rested his chin on his free hand “I have to be here taking care of you, stupid little you” he looked down at her “really, what were you even doing? Who runs till their battery dies? If it was a suicide attempt then it was the worst one I’ve ever seen”

Ashlynn smiled and nodded her head in agreement at the mimed question. When Xaphia took her hand and led her out of the underground tunnel, she went willingly enough. Being underground like this was foriegn to her and not something she always liked. It was almost like she was claustraphobic at times, but it depended on the circumstances.

They rushed up the stairs and with that first breath of 'fresh' air, she laughed softly. Her eyes went to the sky but quickly turned to the girl who held her hand. "I'm sorry...I just love being up here," she said softly, "I grew up in one of the ruins." She shrugged slightly and didn't try to fill the silence anymore.

Kris watched as the man laugh when he said that trouble finds him, it didn’t annoy him it just amused him. To find someone like him, Cheerful and friendly it seemed that nothing would bother him at all. Kris listens to the man and found out that his name was. But Kris was right trouble usually finds him, in the form of bounty hunters, young people who want to test there luck against him or the ones who wanted to just flat out kill him.

Kris heard the man tell him his name was Jason Garret a mercenary, he also told him that he was on vacation and that he didn’t have to worry about him trying to kill him.

“I see, but there are some who say bounty hunting is an easy job but those who say that usually shoot there bounties in the back,” Kris added

“So he was going to follow some leads he must have a job in mind” Kris whispered to himself

Kris looked at the pipboy and saw the picture of him, the man was right the picture did make him look fat, because of that many Bounty hunters don’t recognize him. But then again there were few that did recognize him.

“Well it was nice to meet you, but I must be on my way to find some better shelter” Kris replied as he jumped down, he quickly landed beside Jason.

“ To warn you there maybe a convoy around here I’m not sure if they are friendly.” Kris added as he look down the street that lead further into the city.

"Thanks for the tip" Jason said as he took a look at the building, thinking what was wrong with it it make have looked like crap but it was shelter maybe it's not good enough for My Tenpenny over there he thought. Jason thought he could at least use it for the night as he began to walk toward the smoking building "oh and some advise" Jason started "might want to find some shelter fast, thing is yao guai country, I mean they like me, but they most likely will try to kill you all that radiation really pissed them off and strong...just a heads up". Jason made his way to the building as some of the smoke started to die out, thinking of the convoy Kris mentioned.

"Yeah we got a little old convoy aint she a beautiful sight" he sang as he made it to the door, having to give it a nice tug causing it to fall over, Jason just let it fall to the floor. He looked around the place almost everything was charred, after which he saw the remains of a man, incinerated to a skeleton Jason just looked at it "that is no way to lose weight.. move over slim" he said as he sat down moving the skeleton aside. Jason took a bottle of soda out of his coat pocket along some chips he had gotten in another town, he took a look at his Pipboy scrolling though it "now let's see about vault dweller weapon stash" he said as if talking to the skeleton "play...".

Marlina didn't want to go. She didn't like what was happening to the band. Some internal politics and BAM! she might be out in the cold. So when Alder the "band leader" had said they were following the military convoy in to the city, she had wanted to throw a fit and vote no. But things being as they were, it was safer for her to keep her head down and go with the flow. So here she was. On the way in she had noticed the heli in the distance and had shuddered. She had heard of the leader, what was his name? Thomas? Teller? She couldn't remember, but his strong voice replayed in her dreams and she never wanted to face him, because they had listened in to the radio frequency often of the military convoy and the crap those guys went through, well, PASS for Marlina.

"Marlina, get your cute ass over here!" shouted Alder. Marlina leapt into the air. gracefully landing next to him on top of the bus.

"You wanted me, oh fearless leader?" she said snidely.

"Impertinence!" he said loudly and swung his arm to hit her, he missed.

"Look are we going to dance all day or would you like to give me my assignment?" she asked haughtily.

"Forward scout, see what is happening in that city" he mumbled.

She leapt away from him and took of running, leaving her laughter behind her. What a pompous ass, she thought. She raced into the city and climbed on to roofs, jumping over roofs and moving deeper into the dead ruins. She glimpsed down and saw two men, just below her. She moved closer to hear their exchange. Hmmm a runner, that could be worth some time and energy, she thought as the two men parted ways, watching as one of them laughed loudly to himself. Marlina watched the other man, begin to walk away and thought "why not" as she dropped down and landed gracefully before him.

"Kris" she purred, "give me one reason, I shouldn't haul you into custody right now."

Aella

God's holy warrior flew threw the sky, vigilantly watching for the tell tale aura of blackness which would single out the foul demons to her angelic vision. She still had to see them, but it made things much easier.

It had been a long time since she basked in the glory of God, over two centuries in the time of men. She had stayed behind to protect God's creation and it's inhabitants from the demons who had stayed behind to indulge their evil nature. Many of the fiends and their filthy part human progeny had fell before her holy blades...all twelve of them.

It tore her heart to be so far from the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Its pain only magnified by the fact that the whole world now knew that God existed...and most didn't care...many blamed him as much as Satan for the world's state.

The faithful were few, and had to be protected.

She heard the cry of help, terror and anguish from one, begging for God to save her from a demon.

Within minutes of the initial cry, she could see the woman, surrounded by a mortal convoy. The angel tucked her wings in and dove like the falcon toward the prayer for help, swords streaking behind her like missiles, following her every move.

As she spread her wings wide to slow and land, she was positioned so to the woman, Aella came from the sun. Paying the others no head, she landed next to the woman and knelt next to her, laying her hand upon her wound.

"Your prayer has been heard Faithful One. By the grace God I purge the evil taint from this wound,"
purging the lingering taint of the demon from the wound, it now would heal properly (as opposed to gradually becoming an ugly cancerous growth) and even more importantly...it was no longer a source of corruption in the woman's flesh. Even though there was no physical indication that anything had happened, the woman's soul could feel the dark presence removed.

"Tell me about it Little One,"
she asked, "That I might deliver proper vengance upon the wreched creature."

Kris was surprised when he saw a figure land right in front of him, he quickly cursed himself he should have paid more attention to his surroundings. As he looked at eh figure he could tell it was a female with cat like features.

When he heard her say to give her one reason why shouldn’t she take him into custody, he still had his hand on his revolver but with her cat like features her reflexes must be very good. Kris wondered if he could take her on, he played many scenarios in his mind most of them ended with one or both of them injured or even dead.

“ As of now I can’t think of a good enough reason or one that you would like” Kris began . He never moved from where he was. He didn’t want to make any sudden movements to entice her into attacking him that would be a last resort.

He soon came up with a answer that was the correct one, very few people new about it or very few who aren’t brain washed. “ Tell me who are you” he asked her hoping that he maybe able to talk her out of fight or having her take him in.

“ If you want a reason here's one for you, The only reason I know of is that I ain’t going back to the place I was born, just so that they can kill me for a cure and take over the neighboring settlements.” Kris “ I’m sure you don’t want to fight me since both of use will get hurt.” He added softly.

His eye's quickly scanned the area to his right was a old diner, to his left was a old gun shop. Kris figured if he did take off running he could make it to one of the buildings but which one. Kris quickly changed his mind on running away

The man standing before her was priceless! Oh, she would have great fun with this one. She could tell he was full of righteous indignation and would not take lightly to her laughing at him, so she moved quickly to his side and lightly touched the gun in his hand. Her tail wrapped itself around his leg.
She looked up at him through her lashes.
"That is a good reason," she whispered, "and I want to hear all about your little troubles, but is there somewhere not so in the open we can talk?"

Kris watched as she moved to his side, she was quick he wasn’t sure how to react but when he felt her hand touch his gun. At that point the knew that she wasn’t going to harm him at all he listen to what she said on finding a place to talk that wasn’t out in the open.

Kris slowly looked down at her, she was very beautiful, he wasn’t surprise by her features he had meet others like her. He treated them well and in return he treated them well which it allowed him to stay in their small villages.

“ The gun shop maybe be a good spot to talk” Kris replied as he nodded his head towards the building. “ I need to find some more ammo and some other things “ Kris added.

“ Or unless you want to find another place” He asked her as he felt her tail wrapped around his leg.

The gun shop had ammo if something should happen, but the diner was bigger but it had more spots to guard. The only other options he could think of was in the ruined buildings that littered the surrounding area.

“ But what would your leader say if you went into a building with a stranger you just met” he asked her

*crackle*Some call him the vault dweller, others call him a messiah. To me.. he was friend acceding from the depths of vault 101 to find his father, he was a noble soul even when traveling into the depths and cruelty of the waste and guided by the virtues his father bestowed upon him. Like one true messiah he was tempted by evil and yet refused. I saw him sacrifice himself for the sake of this world only to live again almost reborn, and then leave without a trace. Despite the lore around I saw him for what he was... a man, human. One not tied to fate, able to choose for themselves and for that, he was free. The last day I saw him was when he came to the museum, to say his goodbye's only carrying a shotgun and pistol with him, he told me he was going to follow a strange signal he picked up. He told me he had hidden the rest of his equipment, when I asked where, all he said was "Dashwood". That was last time I saw him, where ever you are my friend, I hope that you are safe.

"Damn, that was long" said Jason as he closed off the audio. He had received the audio about a few days ago, apparently only able to be received via Pipboy. Jason took off his coat using it a pillow to lay his head on, he could have done without all the free to be yourself crap, but what got his attention was where the equipment, if this guy had the stuff he heard about, Jason needed to get to it first, "why did that guy sound like mutant" he said aloud as he laid on the floor, the skeleton next to him"Dashwood..I wonder if...." Jason closed his eyes thinking about the clue as he drifted off to sleep.

"She..." The woman relaxed visibly after Aella treated her. Perhaps a bit too much. She seemed exhausted, although the bleeding from her leg could surely explain it. "She´s a demon... she ate them...!"

The woman started closing her eyes, fainting. But that would be enough for Aella to know who could be inside the building. There were demons dedicated to gluttony who engaged in the depraved act of eating human flesh, but most of them had been wiped out, their power never being too strong to begin with. However, there was one known demon who did not engage only in gluttony but in direct, indiscriminate destruction, and who was still talked about among the celestial ranks because she was the first and only one to taste angellic bodies...

Crimson´s every single step was bloody as she advanced into the dark corridors of the building. The noise of the convoy outside, vehicles stopping and engines being set on idle, wrapped around her and made the walls and floors vibrate like a living creature´s body. Crimson grinned, her blood-stained teeth bright in the darkness as opposed to her darkened eyes. Ever since she tasted the flesh of angels, her eyes were dark like the Styx, and just as merciless.

"More toys..."

The demon knew the woman would not last long, and the woman had to know as well, so what would a human being in such a situation do? Obey the one who had killed her, or try to attain revenge by revealing the murderer´s position?

Humans were petty creatures. Crimson laughed to herself again, although this time it was suppressed. Her throat trembled. "Hhhn hhhn hhhn...!"

The wooden floor creaked under her boots as she reached the end of the corridor and opened the last door. It took her to a large studio, a circular room with the walls lined with rack after rack after rack of books. Whoever had lived here must have been some kind of erudite. In the opposite end of the room, a few pieces of furniture stood, wardrobes and drawers, with a desk and a comfortable-looking armchair right behind it. And past these, the studio´s immense window looked out into the sunset, giving the room an orangeish tint that reminded Crimson of the fire that destroyed Alexandria´s library.

"Beautiful." She commented, as she prepared to receive whoever intended to follow her. She tossed the remains of the woman´s leg still in her hand against the door, sprinkling it in blood, then moved around the desk. Her red coat and dress, and the fresh blood she was soaked in, seemed to play light tricks with the sun behind her as the demon sat on the armchair, crossed her legs, and rested her hands together on her lap, waiting to see what her catch for today was.

Ayumi

Power was fed into her system and her thought processes started up, albeit slowly. Ayumi caught snatches of information as she felt herself being lifted. Strong arms were holding her close to an impossibly powerful frame.

Android! She gasped mentally as her espionage gear came online.

It was still minutes later until most of her sensory systems just in time to catch his words.

“You’d better appreciate this. I could be off collecting my bounty, but no...” He sighed. "I have to be here taking care of you, stupid little you. Really, what were you even doing? Who runs till their battery dies? If it was a suicide attempt then it was the worst one I’ve ever seen”

Ayumi fumed inside. Who is this man and why is he insulting me? The memory resurfaced. Oh... he's my rescuer.

Ayumi's retinas performed a bio-kinetic scan and barely detected the minute differences in body functions. Her body became rigid as her movement systems finally kicked in. Power surged through the rest of her body as the control link was finally established between her limbs and the artificial brain.

Ayumi turned her head and looked at him. "I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but I wasn't trying to commit suicide." She paused. "I was running from previous owners that were rather... unclean. Then there were flashing lights in my head... and hard ground... and... and..."

Then Ayumi noticed the peculiar weapon he carried. "Ooh! A claw!" She rushed forward and held her fingers inches away from the object, obviously fascinated. "Ooh! Can I touch? Can I? Can I? Please?"

Marlina looked sharply at Kris when he asked his question. She let her hand fall away from him. She realized that he might be taking a stab in the dark, but she would not divulge anything about her band or its goals to anyone. So she laughed lightly, hoping to distract him from her immediate reaction. She stepped back closer to him, put her hands on his chest.

“How do you know that I am not a lonely little kitten in search of a new toy?” she asked seductively. “Besides, I like your first choice, the ammo shop will be fine, you know a girl could always use a fill-up” with that she pulled his hands inside her coat and placed them on her 9MM that she always wore. She let his hands slide down to her hips and rest there for a moment before she turned on her heels and walked towards the ammo shop that she had seen nearby.

“Coming?” she asked over her shoulder.

The sky was beautiful, an orangey colour that Xaphia hadn’t seen before, the other times she had been out it was either that light blue with the dancing white clouds, or pitch black with thousands of twinkling pinpricks, both were beautiful, but when she looked to the side and saw the sun settling beneath the hills, she knew that whatever this was, it was her favorite. Sadly though, being above ground hadn’t alleviated the paranoid twinge in the back of her mind, that someone was following and watching her, she kept expecting it to fade as she adjusted to her new life outside, but every morning when she woke up, the strange presence that kept her on edge was there.

She smiled back at Ashlynn, so she grew up above ground, she must have such wonderful things she could teach the curious half demon. She pointed to herself with her free hand, the pointed down, telling her she was born underground, then she opened the top of her coat, showing her the distinctive vault jumpsuit underneath, showing her where underground she had lived, and unintentionally giving her a good look at her chest without the baggy greatcoat ruining her figure.

**********************************************

Blue’s finely tuned senses felt the body go stiff and rigid as the servos and fiber bundles of synthetic muscles tensed, life giving energy flowing once again through her systems, her head turning to look up at him, his own rather impassive face staring at hers as she explained, what she was doing, or at least started to explain, just after she said her last owners were ‘unclean’ whatever that meant, sounded like one of the many cults in the wasteland, she trailed off, her eyes catching on his gauntlet.

“Um… sure” he said, unhooking it from his belt, rather strange for someone, especially an android, to just jump from one subject to the next like that, though he only had himself as a reference “just be careful, they’re sharp, even by our standards” it was true, the claws and fangs of the aptly named deathclaw would go through just about anything, including his ‘skin’ (though there was harder armor around his important systems, he didn’t know if it was the same for her.

“So” he tried to wrench her attention away from the claw “why were you out in…” he looked up up and down as he tried to form his question politely, taking in the barely covered curves of her body “such light clothing, the wastelands around here tend to favor body armor and camouflage much more than, well, that” he said, finishing with a gesture to what she was wearing.

Malocsious finished the show. Only locals here tonight. Most of the women were irradiated and frigid as cocytus itself. Although the syndicate that ran the casino was more than accomidating to Maloscious' nature, he felt is was soon time to move on.

In his dressing room, he grabbed his sword and stuffed it under his coat, then he turned for the door, walking out into the street... What would the night bring tonight?

She was right, he made a guess which he only figured that he was about ten percent sure that she was with the convoy. She could have been like Jason a traveler who need a place to stay and supplies, but still that helicopter, the blood curling scream the echoed all around. There where many things he did not have answers to, he would have to be careful.

Kris gave a slight laugh when he heard the girl say that maybe she was in search for a new toy, he nodded his head when she said to go to the gun shop to get more ammo for her guns. Kris could see that the sun was beginning to set by the way his shadow was changing position. He was soon brought back to reality when he heard the girl ask “coming “

“ yeah “ Kris replied as he reposition his pack and quickly followed after her. He just walked slightly off to the right of her. As they came to the gun shop he could see that the glass door was broken in as well as part of the main window.

Kris slowly looked inside the room looking for any signs of life that might try to hide in the darkness. After seeing that nothing was in there he walked through the door looked all around. From what he could tell the room, from what he saw only a few things where taking but not much. He saw that some of the rifles had rust on them but with a little work the rust could be removed. Kris quickly sat his back pack down and pulled the rifle from out of the scabbard and placed it on the gun display table. He quickly moved his way behind the counter and looked at the selection of bullets that was still left on the shelves.

The selection was slim but there was a good variety, 9mm hallow points, 45 long colt, .223, 30-06, 45 cal, 38 special, and even a box of 454 casull and 40 S&W rounds. The rest where either 22 caliber rounds, 17 hmr. Or shotgun ammo. Something caught his attention of the ground bellow, it was blood stains from the way it looked it had been there or a few months.

“ Well the selection is decent” Kris replied as he pulled out the 9mm rounds and placed them on the table followed by the 45 long colt rounds. He watched as she walked in and took a look around the place.

“ So can I have your name or should I call you kitten” Kris asked her as he sat the .223 ammo beside his rifle.

There was a extremely light buzz in Thomas's ear before he heard Charles, the demolition expert, talking rather excitedly over the radio. "Thomas? Copy?"

Instead of speaking, he lightly touched the earpiece twice which was their signal for, "OK."

"Listen, the girl just spoke. She said whatever did this to her was a demon. It was eating people."

Now Thomas was forced to speak, "Right, well we've dealt with them before. Get Strike over here ASAP.'

"Copy," Replied Charles with a sad glance to the dying girl. The medic said they might have been able to save her if they had a surgery ward, but she was loosing far too much blood and even with the Angel that had arrived, there was still little she could do but give the girl a drip of morphine to ease the pain. "I'd pray," Charles said, "But since there ain't nothing to pray to, why bother?" He smirked, and turned back to his radio set as he relayed Thomas's instructions.

-

Back inside of the house Thomas moved from room to room slowly, and carefully. He knew the Demon would be waiting for him somewhere, but he wasn't worried about an ambush. The Demon's were too powerful to stoop to such a low level, and on top of that, they had a flair for the dramatic. Still, Thomas continued to work his way carefully room by room, just to make sure there wasn't anything else waiting to stab him in the back while he fought the Demon.

Finally he arrived at the last room, and the redish light coming from underneath told him something was in there. Waiting for him. He carefully holstered the gun in his right hand, and removed his razor sharp katana. A century or two ago, and a glass full of holy water would kill this demon, but nowadays they were much tougher. But they were also much more susceptible to normal damage, while a bullet from his gun wouldn't kill the beast instantly, the wounds would pile up and eventually slow the Demon so that Thomas could go for the kill with his blade. The blade itself could cut through metal, so unless the Demon was made out of lava this would be a fair fight.

Thomas opened the door with the handle and looked across the library. The Demon was framed in the sunlight that was fast fading, "What is your name?" He asked, for central command several hundred miles from this derelict city was slowly gathering as much intelligence about all the creatures left on Armageddon earth. His mic was open, and constantly recording anything that he heard and sending it straight back to the command Humvee. He took a traditional kata stance, his sword ready for defense, and his pistol aimed loosely at the Demon opposite him.

Jade nodded her head in understanding. "You were born in one of the valuts," she said softly as she looked at the other's outfit. It almost explained the screen that she had used earlier to communicate her name. She couldn't helo the fact that she copped a look at the other woman's full breasts. It wasn't something she could keep from doing.

“Well, you could call me kitten, but chances are I will ignore you” Marlina laughed, “Marlina” she held out her hand and smiled up at him as he shook it. She removed her hand from his strong grip and walked over to the 9MM ammo and slipped it inside her coat. It wasn’t much, but then she never needed too much anyway, most of the time when things got too serious she just turned tail and got the hell out. Right now, with the impending darkness and a very handsome stranger in front of her she was debating whether or not to leave or stay here and see what became of this night. She was intrigued by this mysterious man and she knew that however much the city was dangerous during the day it would be downright deadly for her after sunset.
On one of the derelict shelves were a couple of candles, useful for a little light. She lit one, and turned to face Kris.
With a smile on her face she asked, “So, cowboy we gonna stay here for the night or we gonna part ways?” She rested one hand on her hip, while the other held the candle up in the dimming sunset.

Ayumi

"Yay!" The bimbo android lightly clapped her hands together causing her noticeable assets to, for lack of a better word, bounce.

Ayumi paid heed to his advice and handled the glove carefully. The long claws were razor-sharp and ended in wicked points. She gazed intently at the fleshy lower half.

"So... why were you out in such light clothing? The wastelands around here tend to favor body armor and camouflage much more than, well, that> He gestured at her ensemble.

Ayumi looked down at herself and smiled. "Well, I quite like the way I'm dressed. Don't you?" She winked at him wickedly. "Would you prefer I change?"

The glint of the claws in her hands caught her attention yet again. The female android poked at the fleshy substance. Ayumi looked up at him with awe as realization dawned.

"Wait, don't tell me this is a hand. Please don't tell me this is a hand." Ayumi poked it again and shuddered as she thought of what kind of monster would have these claws.

"Did you kill this?" She passed it back to him, careful to not cut either.

"Amazing..." The scantily clad woman smiled as she curled up against him on the bed.

Ayumi fussed at her clothing as she adjusted the strips of cloth to cover the essentials. Her hand left her skirt and planted itself on his chest.

"So... tell me about yourself, my hero." She smiled brightly at him.

"What is your name?" He asked, for central command several hundred miles from this derelict city was slowly gathering as much intelligence about all the creatures left on Armageddon earth. His mic was open, and constantly recording anything that he heard and sending it straight back to the command Humvee. He took a traditional kata stance, his sword ready for defense, and his pistol aimed loosely at the Demon opposite him.

"What is your name?" Crimson asked right back, incredulous. Her grin was gone almost immediately. "What is your name? That´s the extent of your manners, human?"

The demon frowned, displeased, her voice showing the contempt she felt for the puny creature before her. "I forgot long ago, but I´ve been told others have picked up my slack on that, and come up with a few colourful epithets... it is one of the few things you humans can do with regular excellence. Naming that which you have not yet begun to understand."

Crimson relaxed on the armchair as if it had always been hers. She crossed one arm over her lap, and rested her head against her hand with one finger stretched upwards. Her eyes started into Thomas´, and her sight dived into his spirit like a spider descending using its thread. She saw very interesting things. He had a lot of potential, she could tell.

"But I digress. I do not care about my name. I care more about yours... Thomas Jay Kelly..."

The totally normal surprise of someone saying your name quickly washed over Thomas like water under a bridge. His name was commonly heard in this area, he knew, from the running recorders and live broadcasts he sent shooting over the airwaves every night.

Of course it was a Demon, so she probably didn't even need a radio to know his name.

Why hadn't those two deities just brought all their fucking cronies with them when they deserted this place? That thought often crossed his mind, and it did again in the blink of an eye. He tilted his head to the side slightly, his eyes dropping for only the merest second to the bloody arm before returning the Demons gaze.

Whether it was some strange form of evolution, or because of all the chemicals that Thomas had been filled with through the years of his life, he was not susceptible to any telekinesis or most of the mind powers that the freaks left here on earth were able to control. In fact, that was one of the primary reasons he was chosen and taught to be a fighter for the convoy. The fact that his mind could not be controlled, or daunted, was an advantage few people had nowadays. "Stroking my ego is as good a way as any to kiss my ass." He replied, while smiling slightly, waiting for the moment that the Demon would either strike or relax in that chair of hers. No matter how fast she was, if she put herself in a physically impossible situation he would at least land a few blows from his gun. Angels and Demons were by nature unbound by the laws of physics, but since their two rulers had abandoned this world, evolution had kicked itself into gear and brought them more, down to earth, so to speak. Besides this, the technology was also rapidly developing, even with the set-back of nuclear holocaust.

"Is there any particular reason you're interested in it?" He asked, trying to extend time. His Strike team would be here within five minutes, with the Scout team arriving slightly before that. If he could keep this one talking, and she looked like a talker, they might be able to take her out pretty easily.

Kris shook her hand when she introduce herself, and watched her take some of the boxes of 9mm. She didn’t take much. Which it was slightly strange but it didn’t bothered him at all, what he figured was that she must try to avoid conflicts with people.

‘ Well it would be more safer to stay inside.” Kris replied as he watched her lit a candle and looked at her.

“Traveling alone at night can be dangerous” Kris replied “ Even traveling in daylight can be just as dangerous?” he added.

“ i can stay inside with you, That’s if you don’t mind having me for company.” Kris replied as he gave a yawn. " i promise i won't try anything" kris added

He slowly unbuttoned his coat and took it off and tossed in onto the counter, he quickly then took out the long barreled revolver and took six rounds from the box of the 45 long colt. The gun was unique and rare it was made with a titanium, Vanadium, an iron alloys. The gun was especially made for him along with another one which he left back at home. The gun was slightly heavy because of how long the barrel was, a normal human would have slight trouble using it one handed. It had a thin blade underneath the barrel but he rarely used as such all he ever used it to block others swords or as a baton.

The room was dimly lit by the candle but it still gave enough light to see, even with out the candle he could still see fairly well in the dark.

Aella

A female gluttony demon? No, they would be raising a cult around them, not only to feed their own perversity, but to corrupt others.

There was one other...Her.

It fit the descriptions of were ever that thing went.

When the medic said that they couldn't save her, the angel slid her arms around the fainted woman who was dying, her comforting presence easing the woman's passage, and then guided her soul along the angel's faint connection to God. At the moment of passage, Aella kissed the woman, catching a glimpse of her killer, and giving the departing soul a promise of vengeance.

Laying the empty shell down, she rose, "Take the body for now," she said to the medic, "I will bury her myself. Tell everyone to be wary...this is the Satan's own pet monstrosity. She will call upon the blackness that lurks inside of you to turn you against yourself. She also has telekinetic powers, as well as a perverted pyrokinesis. That which should burn does not, that which should not burn does. And don't count on armor to protect you from her hands, little short of holy armor will stop them."

With that advice delivered, the angel took off, circling around the building from a bit of a distance, looking for the tell tale black aura in a window. Her animated swords stayed out of sight.

She had vengeance to met out...

Lovisia

Lovisia watch from her spot on the wall and followed them up to the surface. Watched and listened.

The woman's name was Ashlynn...a lovely name for a beautiful woman. She was born in one of the many ruins. The demon's was Xaphia and a mute.

It surprised her how readily these two had taken to each other. In the four days she had been monitoring this half demon, she had had little interaction with others...save the ones she killed. And now she was giving a good look at her cleavage under the jumpsuit to Ashlynn...and Ashlynn seemed to enjoy the view.

Lovisia felt a twinge of jealousy begin to rise. Why did the demon have to hit on the hot chick that the lonely Ghost wanted to devour and be devoured by? She hadn't had her nethers tweaked in two years! It wasn't fair!

Still, she watched and listened. It was necessary to understand if this one's apparent friendliness was genuine...or a cover for the evil nature from her inhuman parent. If it was genuine...she just might have to slip out of her suit for a much needed romp with these two babes.
