Hm, I'd kinda labeled this one as dead already, but let's see if we can give it some CPR.
I'll be posting in a bit.
I'm glad yer back Jennie. I think with you, feral, and me we can at least keep it going character wise. Maybe if we can get kitten to post more we can even get the story going too!![]()
I highly disagree Mystic. In threads like these we all need to all be on the same page if we want to get anything done. I've been in more than a few of these D&D threads and the biggest killer is when there is nothing to push the party along. Someone that adds tension or starts arguments is just going to bog everything down.
I can see your point...truly I do...but I guess I didn't make myself clear. A character that isn't overly aggressive or abusive (thus she is shy), yet a challenge to obtain (already being in a group, and has rare abilities). Besides...I was making a suggestion from a writer's point of view. Sorry for the input I suppose.
Best of luck and I hope you have fun
Ciao
I can certainly appriciate your writers point of view. However what creates tension in a story with one author will work its way out. In a group with people with different agenda's though, it just leads to butting heads. I may have miss took your general intent, but still it seems like you want to interject an element that side tracks the party from what vaguely defined goals it already has.
Terribly sorry about my lateness, I had a serious problem, my roof got crushed by a big tree falling over, and I had to wait for it to be repaired, and getting a new antenna and a new Internet connection, as both were crushed, I am back now though. And I apologize a hundred folds for this.
I had a quick glance over your thread in the SRP forums. To me it seems like there are too many people wanting the same thing...not giving enough variety. While you seem to have a link to the locals, there doesn't seem to be enough opportunities for conflict within the group.
From a writers' point of view...I would try and incorporate one more character...one that is possibly rare and hard to come by, but talents/abilities you need to complete your little group, but at the same time, they are taken by the enemy group wish to manipulate. Possibly even a healer type...that would pretty much make your little group a fierce enemy and starting base for a powerful group to become even more powerful.
Some interesting conflict could be lifted with the introduction of such a character. If I were to make her...I would even make her hard to manipulate, her natural shyness hard to overcome with the sexually forward personas that exist within the group already, but her mind hard to change with music or mind enchantments.
Anyway...that is just my little opinion. If you can introduce some sort of conflict I am more than sure the thread can continue. Best of luck

More like making the crowd flee in terror.
Well I canaccept that reasoning, but I have seen such lizardfolks before, but I will keep the whole blood coloring in the sine fins out of it. << >> << >>
