Youre new and dont know the ropes. We've been thru what youre proposing, a few times already. I know what folks think. The threads are around if you wanna know what people think of me. But you dont know what folks think of you.
Why doncha ask peeps what they think of you?
Interestingly enough JBJ, no one gives a damn about me or what I think. I know I rate low on the scale of interest on almost everyone's list. If anyone cared enough to know me, they would have contacted me. Those that have, know me as someone they care about. Those that haven't, don't care about getting to know me and have passed their judgements accordingly. There is more to me than meets the eye, that reads the screen in front of them.

Got that wrong Sr Puff'n'Stuff, I'm not looking for attention. Just giving a place for those who keep posting comments about JBJ and those who already have him on Iggy. I could think of better posts if I wanted to garner attention from people.

But as it's been said by the man himself (no, I don't ignore him, I just choose not to respond to him most of the time), he already knows what most people here think of him. It doesn't seem to bother him, so why bring it up.
And yes, I am as guilty of the next person for not perpetuating actual writerly threads on the Authors' Hangout, but why not post something writerly? I think it'd be more constructive than having people post what they think of someone.
To me, this thread just seems like something we'd do in junior high....pass a note around class about who you like better or why you don't like someone. What did it get us then? Not much if I recall. And more often than not things like that would lead to things like we saw back in the 90s with Columbine. Keep poking the timid dog with the stick and it WILL bite your hand off eventually.
The actual purpose of this thread Mich, was to get the comments directed to JBJ, out of the threads and post them here instead. As I see, people have discovered whatever it takes to make them feel better about dealing with it. I wasn't actually attacking JBJ, just providing an outlet. As such, I have no problem with JBJ personally, he's welcome to tell me whatever he wishes and post his thoughts on anything he cares about. I don't even take offence at his personal attacks on me in other threads. I guess the best thing is for no one to post here and let it slide down to obscurity.

Yep, it's junior high time with Lance. Yucking up his story writing directly to churn up the comment trolls (a light bulb he seems to think only clicks over his head), moving to adolescent gay bashing and jollying along lesbians on what he has to "fix" them, digging up old Ami threads for a circle-jerk dumping with his "new friends," and opening a tired "putting JBJ in his place" thread. Just wants a front-row seat in the class so he has a clear shot of waving his arms in the teacher's face. Wants to be appointed hall monitor and captain of the cafeterria line.

I noticed past threads jumping on Ami, and when is a thread no longer allowed to be read again? When you say? You are the self proclaimed auditor of the threads and when they are done? Right from the beginning of all this I asked for proof and even went back to find where I supposedly made the slight. I found nothing that said I was gay bashing, the only thing said was by Safe-Bet and she can say what she wants. If you're gay then say so. You said you've been married for 40 years. The ho hoing on telling us all how to handle story trolls (like it was a brilliant new idea) is on the Feedback forum, the old threads dredged up to be "one of the guys" on slamming Ami are around here in recent threads (Vedad commented on that--and got bashed as a gay male--chuckles--for mentioning it), the "I'll bash gay men, but I know I can 'retrain' Lesbians" can be found near the end of a recent "sensitivity" thread. This one is the "let's me and you get JBJ so I can be one of you" thread.
Just too clumsy and bald for me to be impressed (not to mention the bashing).
