Nope. Exploratory surgery when I was 15. An appendectomy...seems it wasn't where it was supposed to be...it exploded in my abdomen and shot its way around my uterus...At that time they used staples instead of stitches...so I end up have this horrendous scar there..plus two others where they had inserted tubes to suck out the peritonitus... <<---not so sexy, huh? :)

Honey, from where I'm sitting this is the thing: if you are brave enough to take the pics with it showing, then people accept it straight away as a part of the complete lovely package your body is. It doesn't become an issue. If you always hid it, and then got close enough to someone to be taking your kit off in front of them - and that's when they saw it for the first time, well it might come as a small shock NOT because it's ugly - that's how you see it maybe - but because it was unexpected!

Thank you... as I have always said when it is questioned, it is my lifeline. I would have died otherwise if the surgery was not performed.
