That is utterly pathetic. And, I'm sorry to say that I'm not surprised. Most of my experiences with 'organized' religions have led me to sad insights into what they're really about.

When I was in middle school, we were not allowed to wear an American flag on our clothes because it was "disrespectful".

Elementary and secondary schools have never seen any need to tolerate political or religious descent.

As for the preacher who handed out the shirts, he is seeking political notoriety, not salvation. According to scripture, he will be one of those who receives his reward on Earth.
