For those aren't familiar with the Miami Beach area, Indian Creek runs parallel to the ocean about a quarter-mile inland from the shore. Every weekend there are rowers on the creek right at sunrise, so the scene lends itself to great shots with great lighting. Plus, there are lots of bridges over the water so you can get cool angles of the rowers as they pass below your camera.

You have to get up really early, but it's neat to watch.

I'm glad you like that one. That's one of my favorite photos I've taken, and it was one of the luckiest in terms of scene setup and lighting. Everything came together for that shot.
