Trick that I did with my sister. Dip some pure cane sugar on her pacifier (not too often as don't want her to get addicted to sugar, though, that soothed the crying and she fell fast asleep. I aslo played my guitar for her. That was harder though, as she was fascinated by my fingerwork on the guitar.

Though, she stopped crying. LOL

Vacuum cleaner or a short drive in the car.

You do have amazing powers of recollection. I spent my 10th birthday in Yellowstone National Park and my 11th birthday in Scotland, for example.

Hello! I so totally remember you. I'm not even having to think on it a bit. I know you. People can be so ugly and evil! They were basically saying because I suffered depression and eating disorders I did not have the right to procreate or...live. Basically. Bitches.

I will try that trick. I have been thinking about doing it, actually, but I wanted to wait until after she is 4 months old. I read that doing that before 4 months is somehow linked to SIDS (but isn't everything?). Either way, I want to be careful. She is so incredible precious. I know everyone thinks their babies are gorgeous, but she truly is!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay......working too much, not playing enough.....thinking about getting another outdoor project done......and maybe, taking time to find a moose for the freezer......

Though, seriously about me playing the guitar. I was learning, after playin the piano for many years. My sister's eyes would fixate on the pattern of the flow of my fingers against the strings. Soothed her. After a while, she would fall asleep, though no crying. I guess it was my little girl way of a lullaby for her. *sleep or listen to her gawd awful big SuSu hit G wrong every time* LOL Now, I laugh, as G is the main on the guitar as C is on piano.

If you suffered from depression and eating disorders the only thing you don't have a right to is to be judged by others.
