So, let's take 1000 women who do get mammograms regularly and 1000 women who do not care about it. Guess how many less women who have regular mammograms die of breast cancer?
Women die from a lot of things because doctors close their ears and assume a woman is complaining.
Look up how many die from heart attacks in the ER becaue they are being treated for something like a panic attack or something stupid.
Since when is breast cancer a game?

Eleven?
No, wait, that's my stock response. Let's see, out of 1000 women...I'd guess it's probably well into the 100s.
413? I have no idea.
At what age are you even supposed to start getting mammograms? I'm sorry, I'm an idiot, but I really don't know.
200? I have no idea. I do know that if you have a certain density of breast tissue mammograms can actually be harmful and put you at more risk of cancer because of the radiation.
I've heard this before.
I believe the answer is 1. But the science is sketchy at best.
My mother died of undetected breast cancer. Had she gone for regular mammograms she might be with me today.
I have fibrous breasts. I do mammos & ultra sounds.
Yes supposedly the answer is one, but you are correct the science behind it is sketchy at best.
I also find it quite odd that a man thinks breast cancer is something to make a game out of when so many of us women don't find it funny at all. Maybe we should start a game thread about prostrate cancer and see just how funny he thinks that is.
And no Primalex I am not afraid of you, nor will I bow down to you. I only do that to one man and you aren't him.
I think he's trying to make people aware in his own way. I'm living with cancer as we speak and didn't take offense.
Aware of what? That a mammogram is an imperfect screening system? Of course it is but it's hardly the only system in place and there are new screening technologies in the works. Self exam, doctor exam, (palpation), ultra sound, FNB's and biopsy's are all part of the breast cancer tool box. And the breast doctor I saw in Auckland recommended an MRI for me every second year because of the density of my tissue. Not perfect, no, but all we have at the moment.
And if the science were perfect and the answer was, definitely, 1, then my mom could have been that one person. What statistical value to we apply to a mother, daughter, sister, etc?
Aware of what?

How do you make decisions in your life? Do you throw a dice?
How do you make decisions in your life? Do you throw a dice?
Depends on the decision.
Your point?
Do I really have to explain everything for you? You know, God didn't gave you a head just to prevent that it will rain into your throat.
Let's see how long it takes till you figure it out:
If you don't throw a dice, how do you determine how to decide in the end?
