I'm thinking that thread might've hurt more than helped. Almost as if it were a mockery rather than a genuine statement of fact. Also, Karen's continuous, one-woman Literotica Birther movement isn't helping things, either.

I am 39 and divorced, not 25 and single. I don't go out and party anymore -- I'm pretty burned out on it. What can i say, I'm getting older.

I don't much post here on the weekends though, not because I'm out hitting the nightclubs. It's just been boring here, so I spend my nights watching movies/tv on my laptop.

If you don't care, why are you asking me questions about a handle that isn't even yours?

Well ya know, I have to agree. It is pretty boring here most of the time, but maybe Karen is burned out on partying too, or, maybe she just likes to stir the shit and see what pops out. I don't know, I can't speak for her.

Her rants are c&p's or illogical and wrong information. Anyone who feels stupid after reading them is already stupid.

There's two mindsets that come here, IMO. One mindset wants to have community and share and learn and connect and in the midst of all that, have some fun.

The other mindset just wants to hear themselves talk and to tell you that the sky is red when it's blue and ultimately not realize that the sky doesn't have a color at all, because in reality you're just looking at light being filtered and reflected. Being honest with them doesn't make a difference because they came here to hear themselves talk and as long as they talk, that's their reason of being.

Somewhere between these two exists a third, elusive being that just marks time and burns up their lifespan with minutiae, never really caring about shit but not shitting on shit, either. The former two will be remembered while the third will be forgotten and only recalled in the casual. I suppose there is a merit in wanting to be remembered in some sort of fashion, so the good or the bad of either existence is subjective.

Where Karen lies, and moreso, where we lie in all of the above, is up to you and us. This place is what we make of it.
