With cheese! Mmmmm. Yesterday I broke down and bought a very small but very expensive block of cheese. I also bought an apple - they are $4 each here, so one thinks carefully before buying one.

I thought, "Do I really want an apple?"

I answered, "Yes, I really do!"

So, I bought the apple and took it home and sliced it up, with the expensive cheese, and put both on crackers and ate them. Dude, I ate the entire block of cheese! (It was very small). I also drank wine.

Ah, what a night. I shall remember it always and with fondness.

p.s. I also found half a head of broccoli!!! Joy. It was $8 but, since I'd already thrown caution to the wind with the apple, I figured what the heck.

I'm a fishaholic. My life is ALL about fish. Fish I got, caught by my very own self. Last night was mahi mahi. (I'm a very eco-responsible fisherperson, just FYI).

Fish, check. Bananas & paw paws, check. Various local fruit, while in season, check. Taro...ick...check. Pretty much everything else is imported and $$$.

But it's cool, I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night.

This goes back to what I tell my children - it's perfectly okay to be pissed, angry, indignant, enraged, whatever but there are appropriate ways to express it, and inappropriate ways to express it.
