Commenters, voters?

I've been around Lit for a while, posting stories now and then, but the one thing that's kind of lacking are commenters and feedback. I understand not getting much, but one or two comments on a handful of stories? That's very disappointing to me. So maybe my stuff isn't quite up to par (although I do have two stories rated with "H," so maybe my fans are just quiet).

I just want a couple of more comments. Thumbs up, thumbs down, how the story works or doesn't work. One of my biggest turn-ons is knowing I've turned someone on with my stories, but I'm not really getting that from the Lit experience. And that makes me sad. So if you have the time, head on over. There's a little something for everyone, I think. :)

*sigh* There's no requirement here for a reader to either vote or comment. Live with it. It's the way of the world here.

Eh, I suppose you're right. Still, it's a little more than disheartening to work on a story and then just see it sit there apparently unnoticed.

Yeah, well, this posting is posted to the boards every three days. And nothing has changed.

The story isn't unnoticed if the reader count is going up. Having looked at similar boards, the reader count goes up on this site significantly faster than anywhere else I've posted.

I know how you feel. My stories generally get good votes and the reader count is respectable, but the public comments are always low, like 2 or 3 total. For some odd reason, I get more emails about my work then public comments.
I've seen a number of posts that get a dozen or more comments, but I have no idea why they do and others don't. Anyway, just write because it makes you feel good, waiting for feedback can make you crazy.
