Fire_breeze has always struck me as somewhat mysterious (among many glowing traits), so I've decided to turn the spotlight on her.

To start the inquisition ;) :

Do you speak any other languages? If so, what are they?

Your profile says you enjoy traveling. What's the best place you've been? Where are you most looking forward to going in the future?

What kind of wine do you pour yourself most frequently?

Ooh, another HT-er I need to get to know better. Excellent! :D

What's the oddest PM you've ever gotten at Lit?

What's your favorite time-waster?

Is it easier for you to forgive or forget?

Thank you for your kind words! I am so touched that you would think so! :rose:

Don't tell the Playground that I have voluntarily submitted myself to said inquisition ;) :D

Yes I do. I speak English, French (due to the fact I grew up in Montreal) and Hungarian, my mother tongue. I also understand German and Italian, and can stutter my way through the two.

Your profile says you enjoy traveling. What's the best place you've been? Where are you most looking forward to going in the future?

This one is a little harder - almost every place I've been to holds a dear memory that to chose a particular spot as favourite would be almost impossible.

That being said, I loved Petra's sheer ancientness - you can literally feel it seeping through the stones, as well as Knossos. Rome is exquisite and Vienna and Budapest always holds a special place in my heart (although I am biased about Budapest :D). As for the extreme touristy locale, I always find rest in Honolulu.

I can't wait to see London, South Africa and Macchu Pichu. I do wish I could go to Baghdad - I was fascinated with the city ever since I read Tales From 1001 Nights, but somehow, I seriously doubt I will anytime soon .

What kind of wine do you pour yourself most frequently?

For the longest time, I've been drinking Santa Reina Rose wine, now I lean towards semi-sweet white, such as Liebefraumilch or a Pinot gris.

Ooh, another HT-er I need to get to know better. Excellent! :D

Likewise! :D :rose:

What's the oddest PM you've ever gotten at Lit?

Besides the myriad of PMs I get detailing what they would like to do with my neck? :D I suppose the oddest one I got was from a gentleman with zero posts who sent me a "Kneel, bitch!". A few days later, the exact gentleman wrote me "I want to surve u Mistress".

I didn't reply to either of them :D

What's your favorite time-waster?

Lit? :D I tend to read and watch stupid movies to disconnect my brain, and play solitaire when I should be researching. I do try to go to the museums as well.

Is it easier for you to forgive or forget?

Forgive. To forget for me tends to be harder, much harder than to forgive. I can forgive most things because we are all humans, and the Gods know that I've made some really stupid mistakes. Forget? No. But I do try to keep the past in the past and not bring it up.

I have avs turned off, so I had to check out your profile. Now I see what you're talking about. :)

Nice neck. And I mean that as non-creepily as possible. :D

What is the movie you most enjoy watching on rainy days?

Oh, and I second the liebfraumilch-like. It is a wine I enjoy myself, when I can find a good one.

Hi FB! I couldn't help but come in and give :kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss: to you since you so freely give them to us!:rose:

Thank you! I don't think you are capable of ever being creepy! :D

I usually find myself reaching for Constantine or the X-Men - I really do like comic book movies...

*nods* I'm really enjoying a good bottle - they are incredibly light and as cliched as it sounds, golden.

Thank you...

1. what is your favorite word?
Compassion, evoke, sublime, delirious, exquisite. Oh, and chocolate and coffee. :p

2. what is your least favorite word?
Hate, 'reasonable accommodation', any racist term, superior/inferior, toilet.

3. what turns you on [creatively, spiritually or emotionally]?
Intelligence, compassion, an open mind, confidence, integrity and respect.

4. what turns you off?
Rudeness, disrespect, narrow mindedness, bigotry.

5. what is your favorite curse word?
I don't curse often, but any variation of 'fuck' can be oh so satisfying. :D

6. what sound or noise do you love?
Laughter, the wind blowing, fire crackling, the ocean's waves, the purr of a kitten (or a well maintained car engine), and the deep breathing and soft whispers of a lover.

7. what sound or noise do you hate?
Any sudden, loud artificial noise (fireworks, guns, bombs, parades even), high pitched whirling noise, whining, and my morning alarm clock .

8. what profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
That's a hard one, maybe a GP or even possibly curator. If Indiana Jones' job becomes open, then that.

9. what profession would you not like to do?

Anything in high pressure sales or that would force me to betray my ethical integrity.
10. if heaven exists, what would you like to hear god say when you arrive at the pearly gates?

"I hope that you've had the ride of your life"
:D

Yes I do. I'm proudly owned by a nine-year old cat :D

Also, what's your favorite kind of ice cream?

I, uh, don't really like ice cream . If I have to pick, it's probably Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. I prefer sorbet (mango and raspberry).

Excellent! A challenge! ;)

How did you discover Lit?

2. what is your least favorite word?

toilet.
Why?

I'm curious about this one, mainly because it's just an everyday word here, while according to U.S. television, almost no one goes to the toilet, but everyone must be incredibly clean because they often go to the bathroom

Hmmm You're owned by a very regal looking cat, and you don't really like ice cream. See there, we have two things in common. Excellent!

Very nice to meet you! :rose:

How did you discover Lit?

It will be interesting to see if you meet it! ;)

It's pretty nerdy, actually. I was doing research on Tales from 1001 Nights and wanted more source material. I googled 'erotic lit.' and stumbled upon this site. I looked around, thought it looked fun, told myself I will come back once I was done and promptly forgot about it. A few months later, bored out of my skull, surfing the net, I remembered this site, and after a few tries, re-found it. I discovered the boards first and been hooked ever since.

Geeky, I know .

Awww, your kitty is so cute! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, and it is my pleasure  :rose:

For various reasons: when I first began to speak English (I was about 3, 4), it was a word that frustrated me the most (along with any 'th' words). I just had so much trouble with it. Couple with the fact that the letter and vowel combination sounds very awkward to me, it became a word that I really dislike.

I usually say lavatory. :D

It's so good to meet someone else who is complete normal ;) :D

Surely you could use the French pronunciation, everything sounds sexy in French, or you could use an Aussie version (maybe not quite as classy), "dunny" or "loo".

You know what I like, that your reason was not just because it's an icky word, there's a genuine solid reason behind it, I'm now curious as to why the other words are on your most liked/disliked lists.

Oh yes, BeeG is one of the most normal people I know.

I could, but the French pronunciation is just as awkward... although I do like the word 'dunny' :D

 Thank you:kiss:... reasonable accommodation was a term thrown around in Montreal that caused ire of most people (who accommodates who?). Superior/inferior, especially when applied to people, goes against my grain: I really do believe that we are equal, not the same but equal, and the moment we start using it, that distinction is being made.

Meh, just like physics, everything is relative. :D

Aah I see where you are coming from, I knew there was reason I liked you.

One of the places I deliver to has the instructions "Leave in big cabinet out the back", the implication being that there are a selection of cabinets of varying sizes, when in fact there is only one cabinet, as to whether it is large or not, I've seen bigger.

Dunny is a good word, not quite as descriptive as Thunder Box but a lot quicker to say if you have to make a dash for the dunny.

When you are stressed to the max and you know it's going to take a while to calm down, what's your routine to bring you back to earth?

Same but different question, when you are calm and all is well and you just want relax what are your favourite things?

Just so you know, I gave myself an earworm with that question, stupid mittens on kittens.

In your profile you say you have both beer and champagne tastes. How about a few examples of both, if you please?

Normal is a setting on a washing machine --- although BG might appear normal...

In the UK we have a saying that someone has 'champagne tastes and beer pockets.' That means they like the finer things in life but lack the ambition/application needed to acquire them.

fire_breeze, how did you choose your Lit username? What first brought you to the Lit forums and what made you stick around?

I'm in a superhero mood today. Who's your favourite comic book character and why is it Iron Man?
