My Resignation

Hello BDSM Friends,

A few days ago I sent a PM to Laurel, our site administrator, announcing my resignation as Lit BDSM moderator. Resignation is perhaps a strong word, retirement perhaps is a bit better.

I requested that Kajira Callista be added as a moderator when Catalina_Francisco, the moderator that brought me on as a mod, had been missing for some time. C_F has since returned and three moderators for this one little forum is certainly a few too many cooks.

Beyond that, I think the title of moderator is something of a monkey's paw to be honest. I have been mod for a few years now and I will admit that they have not been my best years on this, my beloved BDSM forum. I would prefer for my posts to be looked upon as no different than any others, no implied authority or responsibility. Quite frankly, I'm looking forward to being my old self again, which in case few of you can remember, is a cantankerous dick.

And if one is to be a cantankerous dick, it seems only fair that they be ignorable, which I will be as soon as Laurel gets around to it.

I have to admit, it is kind of odd to see so many of the same names for so long. I've been on this forum for 7 years now. I used to be a lot, lot more active than I've been in the last few years, but there is definitely a sense of nostalgia and home here.
