Share one of your haikus...
They can be sexual, but they don't have to be.....

she said
oh yes
just like that!

Not mine, but my favorite one (by Basho)

No one travels
Along this way but I,
This autumn evening.

Well, this isn't really a haiku, so...

Could haiku technically be erotic?
Maybe if you get off on bestiality? LOL

goddesses and eternity...

He trembled when they touched him…
her sweet lips were of another world…

The mavis will sing,
mauger the death of her mate,
you maun remember.

I'll turn you in, dear,
when your innominates go,
turn you in, gently.

With each fell berry,
I'd come to recall, your hair
on my pillow strewn.

phone wires black with birds shooting the breeze,
ruffling feathers

high in the tree tops
birds prattle and whistle -
one eye on the cat

A strong wind and sunlight kiss my naked flesh,
I am seared with pleasure.

The mavis will sing,
mauger the death of her mate,
you maun remember.

I'll turn you in, dear,
when your innominates go,
turn you in, gently.

With each fell berry,
I'd come to recall, your hair
on my pillow strewn.

Raspberries bled,
Into your milky white navel.
I licked the nectar...

I LOVE HAIKUS! But for the sake of learning ..how do I write one?

I don't know really, I think the Haiku got lost in translation. We just go by syllables,

5 - I ate some ketchup
7 - and it wasn't very good
5 - I like tomatoes

It's supposed to have something to do with nature and link to folktales in some way, but I'm not very scholarly, maybe wikipedia knows.

Wiki has a very good article on the style and history of haiku, for those interested in a crash course.

The 5-7-5 syllable count is traditional, as is some reference to nature.
