Send Me A Good Story

Who cares enough about what you think to send you any stories? Megalomania much?

Oh, you're the one being the poop. Again, who wold care what an old sourpuss would say about their story--especially one who hasn't established any expertise in writing erotica himself?

They'd have to be as needy and misguided as you are.

I sampled some LIT stories this morning and wasnt impressed with the quality of the submissions folks rave about. Mostly its bland and inane.

I dont rate the stories I sample cuz I dont submit here.

I know there are a few stories that are excellent cuz I've read them. Theyre few and far between, but they do exist.

If you know of any fantastic stories here send me a link so I can look at it. I wont rate it or comment about it if it sux. And maybe I'll keep looking for what I think are super stories and post their links with comments about how come theyre so good.

I am sorry... are you looking for stories we have come across that we think are excellent?

No, he's looking to tell any sucker suggesting he read their story that their story sucks.

There's a pattern here.

Hey, just wondering, since it appears to be a live topic here on the forum, but...can anyone write a story with...fuck you all motherfuckers?

I was thinking about a drive by shooting story.

The phrase fuck you all motherfuckers has inspired me to write one.

What do you think?

Hmm, I wonder which category I should submit the story?

True story?

No, wait, they don't have that category here.

What is good?

What is excellent?

Only the readers can decide what works for them.

We need more information about what appeals to you, and what doesn't, before we could make a recommendation.

Incidentally, your initial posting claims you have read excellent stories here already. Why don't you start by saying something nice about those--if that's what you claim you will do with excellent ones you find here? Just calling the bluff.

Wonder how many rounds we can have of this from you here without folks catching on to you.

So, you're not going to back up the "I'll mention excellent stories" claim after saying you've already read excellent stories here. Of course not. :D

Yeah, yeah, what a crock of nonsense. :D

It was probably one of those less-than-1,000-word stories you write (something wandering around 0 words).

Again, anyone falling for your periodic game is certainly needy.

On 2nd thought it may be fun to assemble a story from the cliches most LIT writers fill their stories with.

We've been there. The Authors' Hangout has done that. The Worst Chain Story Ever: My start as Chap 01.

Since it is "The Worst", several chapters were never written and some of those that were, were removed by the blushing authors. Enough is left to give the flavour.

Youre forced to wonder why the cliched writing persists. Well, lack of experience and an inadequate word palette is the answer.

True.

Unfortunately that can apply to published and well-promoted authors as well as those of us who are still learning to write.

Posting on Literotica and other sites can provide the experience. The inadequate word palette can only be corrected by reading, reading and reading - and a sound basic education that is missing from so many schools.

I get angry about schools' lack of exposure to the classics of English Literature. My parents, grandparents and I all met the classics before we were 11. Many students can leave university today without having read the classics.
