the springs is great, i have family up that way, go there all the time. snowboarding is easy access from there.

but genocide is a good cause! you know, population control and all....

:) I went to see some awesome Jazz in City Park on Sunday night. You should see the new fountain. Gorgeous. We've had some bizarre weather. I love Denver, though. Life is good. I grew up a bit south/southwest of you. Colorado Springs is also a great town, though it doesn't have the small town options that I think Denver does. Where are you now?

The outdoor music is nice.

I'm all the way at the Southern end of the state so nothing southwest of me except Mexico and nothing southeast except Texas. :D

Grew up in Golden and SW Denver. Good to hear they still have concerts at City Park. Saw awesome production of 'Hello Dolly' there. Now I'm here and making the best of it.
Still upset at closing of Rocky Mountain News.

It was family responsibilities that caused me to leave - try and visit when ever I get a chance. Each time I return less of old Denver is left. I miss Buffalo Bill days and Elitch gardens too.

I would point out that any perception of 'snootiness' is entirely subjective.

People often feel ill at ease about appearing to parade their good command of English before those who have no such facility, for fear of seeming 'snooty'.

I have little time for such empathy problems. If the 'alot'-and-'thankyou' community have trouble with my ability to use the mother tongue better and more accurately than them, then my reaction is: oh dear; what a shame; never mind.

Anyway, prepositions are excellent words to end sentences with...
