What did you like most about that job? Why did you leave it?
fgarvb1's thread http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=658457, inspired me to ask this.
The coolest job I ever had was a part time, on/off again gig as a waiter for 12 years. At least, I was never dropped from the payroll. I had the luxery of basicly working there whenever I pleased. Of course there were times I would go in at a minute's notice or drop in to say 'Hi' and end up working a few hours.
What I liked most........The owner was/is such a cool person. Everyone likes and respects him. It was extra cash I never spent, mostly a place for occupying my time in between my independant, odd jobs. I met some nice people and sometimes hooked up with some women there. Looking back, the job filled a void in my life in more ways than one.
I left it when corporate office went started buying and taking full ownership of its' independents. They were assholes who had no fucking clue what they were doing. They drove that place into the ground in less than 6 months.
I maintain an ongoing friendship/work relation with that owner. I have allways done some type odd job for him. With the restaurant it was mostly maintaining the huge lawn and landscaping. I have done odd jobs for his 2 homes and still do when time permits.
