So what category would be appropriate for the story of an early 40's woman happily married to two younger men and living with their children in Kenya where polyandry is recognised? I suppose Mature would be one option as would Interracial since the men are black and she is white. But would this also work for fetish or incest/taboo? I mean pologamy is pretty taboo, especially when it is the woman enjoying the benefit of two hot, horny men.

You might check on the actual implementation of polyandry in Africa. Polyandry is a method of control of the property of a family, via a chief wife. The chief wife controls the family's property (usually herds and grazing lands.) Her 'husbands' aren't really husbands and they usually have their own real wives.

For the best reader reception at Lit., I'd suggest the group sex route. It's not taboo where the story is located, apparently. It's not incest unless one or more of the men are directly related to her (or to each other and they do threesomes). I think it would also fit in exotic coupling (we have such a category, don't we?). But I doubt it would get as many reads there as in group. Interesting hook.

Agree. I've felt very restricted in categories in my writing here. I just don't place much bi writing here at all--there's only one GM and lesbian category each--and no bi category where the readers will accept submissions. Lots and lots of straight categories.

Hmmm...the story line has her the descent of a white Kenyan land holder, who is basically choosing to return to her ancestral home there simply because she feels more comfortable (i.e. above the law/convention). She would simply be utilising a loophole if you will. I would love your thoughts before submitting it...probably either interracial or group sex.

Actually, I disagree with this, it should go to group even if it's a bi story. You just have to make it clear in the description that it's bi. Bi stories tend to get flamed in 'Gay' if there's sex with women involved. I've never had a problem with it in group.

If I were writing the story, I would have her assume the position of chief wife over her Negro African tribesmen. I would have her assume and maintain control by using sex. I would also work the byplay with the current wives of the tribesmen. I would put the story into interracial, rather than group. They strategy I have outlined is, of course, group, but has a very heavy interracial theme.

Think your story would be interesting, but I am a romantic at heart. So in this story, both of the men are Western as well. She got caught up in cyber romances with both men; assuming neither would actually lead to anything in real life. Then she begins a torrid experimentation with the one who lives near her London home. But suddenly the American shows up on her doorstep. Rather than be angry, they decide to see just how far her fantasies go. The first encounter is definitely instigated by her boy toys, but in the end it is a rather equal three cord strand. With all living happily ever-after.

Again, depends. Any woman commanding two husbands (black or white) could be considered femdom. Depends on the focus, as you mention.

I suspect the practice varies considerably from place to place; Africa is a very large continent. Polyandry has been (across the world) quite commonly practised by nomadic peoples in resource depleted regions - deserts and tundra, for example - where it takes more than one man to provide for the offspring of one woman. And certainly in some of the places where polyandry is or was practised, all of the husbands are or were sexual partners of the wife.

Well, what I have up now isn't what I've always had up on this site and I wasn't only thinking of myself, but of many stories I've read in the category. I definitely agree that there should be a "bi" category. Since there isn't, I still wouldn't put a group sex story which included any het sex in the "gay" category no matter how much gay sex it contained. That's just me. *shrug* Group sex is group sex, regardless of who sticks what where.
