i've liked this song since i first heard it a few years ago. a sadish song but also gets me thinking. such a good song for the little kiwi. sometimes we all have to manipulate our worlds to reach our dreams.

I saw it a good while back with the original sound. Yeah, it points up the absurdity, and makes it a bit happier, without taking away from the message. The song version puts a heavier spin on it.

The 'version 2' remake adds a different ending. Once the kiwi disappears through the clouds a new animation kicks in where he pops a parachute and floats down safely. I didn't care for it, even if it was a happier ending. Disappearing through the clouds and an implied splat gives the short more meaning.
