I know that a lot of people today, with the current economic crisis could really appreciate a couple of pieces of free chicken all cooked up and ready to go. The site says you have till midnite tonight to download the coupon and then have till the 19th to use it.

They seem to have extended the deadline, to 9:59 PM CDT tonight (5/6/09), and you can actually print as many copies of it as you want The coupon is usable through 5/19, except on Sunday, 5/10 (Mother's Day {U.S.}). I printed out 3 copies for myself, because I figure that's the maximum number of times I'll be close enough to a KFC to take advantage of the coupon between now and the 19th, and 5 copies for my neighbors (2 parents, 3 kids), and will point out to her that she can print more if she wants, by going to the unthinkfc.com website.

You are very lucky. i wanted to make 5 copies, but was only able to make 4. i even tried deleting the coupon printer i had to download and reinstall it and it still tells me that i have downloaded the maximum number of coupons.

The offer is for two pieces of their new grilled chicken, two sides and a biscuit. Go with healthy sides, break up the biscuit to feed birds in the yard, and the grilled chicken is a lot better for ya than the original or crispy styles...

KFC denies reports of free-chicken riots
Chain overwhelmed by customers trying to cash in on Oprah promotion

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Customers at a New York City KFC hoping to redeem coupons for a free meal were disgruntled when the fast-food restaurant ran out of its new grilled chicken, but Internet rumors of a riot were unfounded, a Kentucky Fried Chicken spokeswoman said Wednesday.

"Some customers were upset because they couldn't get their chicken, but there was no riot," said Laurie Schalow.

Schalow said the Manhattan restaurant on East 42nd Street plans to begin honoring the coupons again Thursday after it resupplies the kitchen.​

Unaware of the coupons I dropped into my local KFC last night to pick up a fat-fix and ran into pandemonium. People who did not use a high quality printer were being turned away because the counter folks could not read the watermark.

They were not happy at all.

The first job I had at 15 was in an A&W drive-in that sold KFC. We made the root beer in big vats and cooked the chicken in small batch pressure cookers on gas burners. Despite that fact that I was not yet 16 and could not legally tend the cooking, I was cooking KFC. In almost 40 years I have never fully exorcised the desire for that chicken from my system.
