I will be soon be making my name change legal, I do not have a satisfactory middle name so it is to be Gianna .......... B.

Help! I am looking for a middle name that carries a positive meaning. Since so many are dear to me from this place I thought to myself how appropriate that my name come from them.:heart:

Suggestions would be warmly welcome.:):rose:

The first thing I thought of were the flower pictures, like in your sig.

There's an entire list, though I don't know how 'positive' of a meaning that would be.
A different one is "Patience".

Francine.

I think it's a pretty middle name. Gianna Francine B.... :rose:

I like the suggestions so far. Since you like orchids so much, is there a name of an orchid that would work?

ETA: I'd always be willing to share mine. :rose:

Brunhilda???

Yeah, I know it would suck as a middle name, Gia, but I laugh every time I say it! :)

Brunhilda... Brunhilda... Brunhilda... See what I mean? :D

That name is a prerequisite for singing Wagnerian operas. :D A laugh, they're not.

lol MistressLynn so far it has been predominately flowers :). And Safe_Bet I am a great fan of Elmer Fudd's marvelous masterpiece I will pass on Brunhilda*giggle* I love Sarah, Sarah unfortunately My cousin's wife is named Sarah. TE999 Francine is lovely, Magica *grin* I love your name too. Glynndah I really like Rose,Xelebes lol Venus in retrospect is a possibility. SlickTony Iris is another good one.
ChainedEros Simone is a good one.:rose:

Thank you all. :kiss::heart:
Lol please do not stop, My confession is that Gianna came from someone here at LIT. I had a friend named Gigi. When my trans doc asked me what I wanted to be called I blurted out Gi! I had never thought about a name before, I would not allow myself fantasies in my poverty of thought. Most trans experiment in cross dressing and fantasize. Not me, I shoved it back into my subconscious. So a friend here thought up Gianna, which coincidentally was an Italian female version of my Middle name John.
Gianna means "Grace to God" Irony after irony, with my finding of self, I do have a relationship with God again, lol it is not a conservative view by any means. I see God as the positive potential within all of us. God is not out there, but within each and every heart good or bad it is our personal journey to find that place and shine forth the light that is the true and innate self.
*grin* okay it is Sunday.

I am also thinking of changing my last name as well to embrace the changes in my life completely so last names are great too. :rose::heart:

Hugs, chickie. Then based upon the above, I've gotta think that "Faith" would be a perfect fit for ya, doll! :rose:

Why do you feel you need a middle name? I have spent the last fifty years trying to lose mine - but it's still on my passport!

lol everyone I know has three names. But that is a good point, It certainly would make things easier to have just two. :)

Lol, I love it!:kiss: Hmmm add that to the list of positive choices.
For my fearful nature Faith is a gentle reminder to stay on course, it bolsters the belief in self and confidence.:rose:

This fits right in with how I feel about parents naming their child one thing, then calling them a nickname right from birth. Why not just give them the nickname? I've always wondered why we needed a middle name too. It's just there.

If you are changing your name, Gi, then make it what you want to be called. Forget what everyone else has.

You are a special, beautiful person. Make your name yours. :rose:

I'd go with 'Felicity'. It is very feminine and means 'happiness'.

Seems just perfect for you.:rose:

lol you are right, Gianna has felt right from the beginning. I am trying on suggestions to see how they feel. The one that rings truest to me, is the one I will take. My last name is German and very harsh sounding which is why I may do away with it.
