Even though I've been lurking round these parts for awhile, both the stories and the forums, I've only just signed up. (Newbie alert! Be gentle with me...-quiver-)

Um. I guess I started here because I like to write and hopefully I'll get some of my stuff up here soon! But I'd also really like to get to know some of you guys? Forums, of course, are no fun if you're talking to yourself.

So I've ganked a few questions from one of those incessant Facebook surveys. It'll be fun for all. Uh...maybe.

Name: Autumn (not my real name)
Sex: Yes please! I'm also female ;)
Age: Young at heart? I've been 29 for my past 3 birthdays, put it that way.
Location: Connecticut at the moment, but it changes periodically.
Sexual Orientation: Sexuality is so fluid. Um. But leaning towards the womanloving side. ;) Currently in a long-term relationship with a woman and I don't see that changing anytime soon. <3
Relationship Status: As I said before, taken by my lovely girlfriend whom we shall call Eden. We've been together four years.
Kids? One beautiful daughter whom we'll call Bunny. She'll be 8 in November and has brought so much joy into our lives since we adopted her over a year ago.
Favourite kind of chocolate: Hmmm. I like white chocolate, but I'm not partial to any brand. ;)
Favourite sexual position: Can't beat the good ol 69
Kinks? -cackle- all in good time, my dears.
Favourite author: Non-erotic? I enjoy Jodi Picoult. As for erotica, I have a lot. I tend to get the yearly "Best of Lesbian Erotica" collections, which I'd highly recommend to anyone leaning that way. :)

Good to meet y'all! <3

A welcome  for the little newbie from the good little witch.

Welcome Autumn,
Always an opportunity for some new blood (or whatever appropriate body fluid) .......

Welcome Autumn. :rose::kiss:

I'm writing, editing and fooling around here. ;)

I'm watching the German version of Pop Idol, reading Lit posts and cooking another batch of Green sauce. How about yourself?

Green sauce? What's that like? XD

American Idol is my guilty pleasure. For some reason I find myself tuning in every week and voting a time or two for that Adam fella. Hee!

I am relishing a rare quiet moment. My girlfriend is out of town and I just got the Bunny to bed after about 5 stories. So I'm indulging in some...naughty stories and sipping a glass of wine!

That question about green sauce has been asked before. Jen hasn't answered, yet. Methinks that it's some family secret she swore a blood oath to never divulge. I used to have a recipe for a cilantro pesto that was absolute heaven on calamari but it disappeared in a hard drive crash. :(

Welcome to the AH, Autumn, feel free to wander around. But please, be cautious.

Mmm, cilantro pesto sounds heavenly!

I was at a breakfast place a few weeks ago and they had green tabasco sauce. So strange! But I put it on my eggs anyway and it was oddly delicious. D:

The green jalapeno Tabasco is almost ideal for eggs. I put it into my egg, white wine and Parmesan mixture when I'm making a frittata. Great stuff. And you really should try the chipotle Tabasco on hamburgers. Wow, just wow!

Mmm! That sounds delicious! XD I may have to try that the next time I fire up the ol grill! :D

And I will try and steer clear of the trolls. Any political/religious conversation on the internet inevitably turns into an unwinnable argument. Fighting on the internet = no bueno.

Ah, you have had experience! A wise and intelligent newbie is very, very welcome around here. You also must make 3113's acquaintance. Now there is a lady who knows her way around a kitchen! I keep hoping for an invite over for dinner some day . . .

I have too! I just haven't figured out quite the right formula for it yet.

Green Sauce is a dish of which there are a lot of variations in existence, but of course the best one is the one native to my home region of Germany. ;) It consists of six different herbs, sour cream (or sometimes yogurt for a lighter version) and a number of other flavoring ingredients like lemon juice. The sauce is served cold, over warm potatoes.

It's difficult to recreate in the US because I haven't yet been able to find four of the six herbs in question, so I've had to substitute and experiment heavily.

I'm not usually a huge fan of Pop Idol, but I got into the current season since I'm able to watch it online (though they always divulge on the main page who's going to be leaving before I get a chance to find out for myself ). It's just like a little bit of home for me.

Evening, Autumn. Stop by the Naked Party some time. ;)

Oh, and when you meet Betsy (Safe_Bet), she'll try to get you to post full frontal nude pics.

By all means, indulge her.
