Dear Capitalists: Look at the Revolution clock! It's later than you realize.

Workers are not only protesting in France, but they're also taking bosses hostage.

And even the Government is under attack.

50% of the French citizens polled, find these acts justified.

This could very well mean that the time for debating the evils of capitalism is passing, and the time for bringing it down by force, is nigh.

And bentsecrets, Ishmael, off2bed and the rest of you... this is inevitably coming to America.

Powertone: how loud is your rhetoric going to be when we start hanging corporate execs in America? :D

your a sick man, Jackie.
I've predicted the LEFT to eventually build ovens for a long time...

The left will just call them "Education Camps" or "Public Schools" where they seek to brainwash everyone into believe socialism isn't evil....

To the winners go the spoils. Might makes right.

You are now about to become the victim of your own rules of engagement.

The most important question for you is...

Where will you run when the revolution begins in earnest?

Congratulations on winning the right to be in charge of failing public schools.

I'll send my kids to a private school or a charter school that hasn't been ruined by teacher unions yet. Once people realize how crappy socialism is (at least the middle class, the poor basically live that system already) things will turn back.

I thought I was a Bolshevik.

Really? Socialism is alive and strong in Europe. How long do you think it'll be before they abandon it?

And to Wok: I have said many times now that Capitalism and Communism are both doomed institutions. We need to think outside the box and come up with something new.

Evolution demands it.

I think they're too dumb to realize it, it's to the point where they don't know of any other way to live than to suckle on the government teet. With such a large lower class in those countries the votes will always be there to stay with the system, much like how the Democrats use the urban poor to get votes and increase government welfare.

Well, it was never doomed because Communism never happened. It was tried, and yes, it failed. Well, actually, a few regimes exist where it is still being tried, but most are in reforms such as China with the special economic zones, Cuba opening up more, VietNam with a market. The only hardliners I can think of are Myanmar and the DPRK.

And you would rather they side with you and accept a world of exploitation of workers, shitty polluted water, shitty polluted air, people getting fired from work because they got sick, and so on?

Workers are fighting for their interests, and you are fighting to make workers' lives as miserable and brief as possible.

If the working class goes completely on strike, your ass is dead. Not by violence, but because without their work, you don't get to eat.

That was the original plan of the original revolution, and for those without a job, house, inflated money, war weary, etc. wanted another way of life. Lenin, for example, had such a plan. If I were in their shoes, it would have sounded great. No more exploitation. Cooperation instead of confrontation, and the list goes on. And as you just said, the plan did not work.

Now the question is, what kind of reforms are needed in the ideology to make it work? I am not a philosopher.

Oh and another thing you missed, Moxon, in France, the workers are also attacking GOVERNMENT buildings.

Let me explain what that means to you, folks.

That means the working class is attacking CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENT alike.

In America, the working class is angry at the Government AND the corporations.

So when you say the working class is looking to Government to save them, you're on very shaky ground.

Quite simple. We need trickle-up economics. The spoils of capitalism go to the workers primarily and the rest secondarily.

Because without workers, your shit stops. Period. Halt. <Insert Mandarin Chinese translation here.>

First, corporations do way more to protect the environment than government does, especially considering the places with the worst pollution are also those that have no corporations to speak of.

Workers always fight for their interests, but how has that worked for all the Auto Unions that are making it so tough for US automakers to keep factories open? Eventually there is a point where what the workers want/get in a deal only hurts the companies they work for, and then the corporations are fucked because they can't get out of the deal and have to continue to lose the competition to other companies. If the autoworkers wanted to make sure the Big 3 would be able to stay around then they'd re-negotiate their CBAs so that the companies would have a more advantageous business set up, but they're too greedy to do that. I hope they all lose their jobs for following their leaders so blindly.

Bullshit. You're lying now.

The places with the worst pollution are in China, exactly where corporations run wild and relatively unregulated.

Wrong again.

Workers did not make it tough for US automakers to keep factories open. Management did that. The thing that fucked US automakers was their shitty designs and super low gas mileage, plus cheap auto parts made from outside the country with third world labor. Cheap, non-Union third world labor.

You need to do some math here. Union wages and bennies were high, but American car prices were low. American cars undercut Japanese cars in price. That nullifies any damage done by those high Union wages. The damage that ruined GM, Ford and Chrysler, came from the crappy designs.

You can't deny the fact that the Big 3 are paying far more for labor than other companies is hurting them, to say otherwise is complete bullshit.

No, I don't deny it.

I am just saying that labor wages don't hurt them nearly as much as the damage done by non-Union management who poorly designed the vehicles.

Labor wages also are not hurting the Big Three as much as the substandard foreign cheap labor-made parts they're using in their vehicles.

Those two factors are what you keep ignoring.

You're obsessed with lowering the standard of living for workers. Do you really want us to be working at Chinese wages?

I'm not saying that we should be working at Chinese wages at all. I'm just pointing out that the greed by which the Unions went after better and better deals has hurt the companies they work for. It's cutting off their own noses to spite their face. Especially considering that it wouldn't be hard to hire people off the street to do most of those jobs, and be just as capable as the union workers.

Unions do a great job of many things, they allow workers better safety for instance, but they also make it to where people who do substandard work are able to keep jobs that they can't do, and ultimately keep production down, while wages stay up. If auto companies were able to hire whoever they wanted, I think their business models would be drastically different (and they do to, which is why they keep visiting other states to figure out if things would be better there).

Really now? Why don't you try it and see.

Dude, you are way beyond reach. You're utterly obsessed with the over-exaggerated tales of damage done by Unions.

You will never, ever mature far enough, or learn enough about the industry, to see the far greater damage that was done by the Big Three and their reliance on cheap auto parts (which caused cars to break down far more than Union labor), and their penchant for designing low gas mileage vehicles. I have explained these issues to you three times and you have proven utterly blind.

You spend all day whining about Union laziness and wages and yet you never once question the incompetence of management or the overinflated wages of the CEOs.

It's like you have Rush Limbaugh boffing you in the ass and screaming in your ear, "When I say Union, you say BLAME!"
"Union!"
"BLAME!"
"Union!"
"BLAME!"

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a crack in the sidewalk and blamed it on a Union. The weather turns bad because Unions treated Mother Nature wrong. Mold on 1 month old bagels? Gotta be a Union conspiracy!

Thank God America does not think like you.

So nothing of substance to say back? Thanks for playing.

I've had cars from the Big 3 before, got over 100K on all of them, never had problems with the parts.

I'm gonna repeat this until you address it.

Speaking of substance. I challenge you to tell me whether you think that is true or not.
