Twilight OoC/ Discussion thread

Oh man, I'm a little nervous! Ahh! I hope I'll be able to play a well-suited Edward Cullen @_@. I'll post my bio up tomorrow. But I do have a question though. Is this rp about the events that happen through all 4 books, or a particular book, or different from the series entirely?? ( say just a little after Bella & Edward meet & offically talk, or like after Breaking Dawn?)

Now to find an Edward Cullen Picture... Oh man, I hope that I pick something that casts a near-perfect Edward. ( Was totally dissapointed by the performance Robert Pattinson gave as Edward. He actually made me cringe by the lack of acting he gave! I didn't feel moved or enchanted at all :/)

But those two would clash. Not to mention the different time eras!!! But, if we could make it a possiblity to work, then sure. But I'm pretty okay with pretty much anything you guys can think up. Just as long as I know what the story ends up being, then I'm a-ok!

Yeah, good point. Um, I'm just really debating on what the story could be since there are going to be slayers involved, maybe a continuation of the story but this time Reneesme is grown up and with Jacob providing we can find a Jacob. I think that would be a good idea.

Name: Edward Cullen
Age: Appears to look 17, but is known to be as old as 104.
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire- if you can call that a "species".
Appearance:
Very pale, marble-like skin that glitters when sunlight is shone upon, and is ice-cold to the touch. High cheekbones and a stong jawline flatter his face perfectly, without giving way to his golden eyes. Full lips, and visibly no flaws. His hair is more so auburn, usually mistaken as "copper", usually worn as "messy". When Edward doesn't feed, his golden eyes darken, and purple bruises are known to appear under his eyes. Standing in at 6'2, with a long, slender- yet; muscular body, Bella sees him simply as "impossibly beautiful" or the blanant compliment of comparing him to the greek god, Adonis.

Bio/history:
Before Edward was turned in 1901, Edward Cullen was simply known as the boy "Edward A. Masen Jr." After losing his mortal family to a deadly strain of the Spanish Influenza, Edward was close to death. While his family died, Edward remained in the treatment ward, under the care of Dr. Carlise Cullen. Edward's mother's dying wish to the doctor was to do everything he could to not have Edward die of the same illness. The only thing Carlise could do at that crucial moment was to turn Edward into an immortal being:

A Vampire.

Not much has been recorded from the time of his turning to his present day in Forks. Eventually Carlise created a family. Edward got a mother, two siblings and two brothers. While in Forks, Edward enrolled into the local highschool, where he eventually ( and later fell in love with) met Bella Swan. The rest- as you all know; went down in history.

Abilities: Edward has the ability to read people's minds and hear their innermost thoughts. No one has ever been able to escape Edward's amazing ability, except Bella. And it frusterates him to no end! He has the ability to look absoultely beautiful, and surprisently- that can creep out people!! Edward cannot breathe, however; chooses to for the sake of blending in, and smelling his surroundings. Out of all his adopted siblings, Edward is the fastest of them all, outrunning them all with ease. He is known to be very "old-fashioned", right down to his speech which enchants most people. He is also very musically inclined.


Alignment: To be assumed as good. To Edward, he fears he is not.

So after thinking this out carefully, I've decided that this will be an AU thing only because so far we only have one guy and a girl playing a guy which makes for really bad pairings. Besides, with AU you can be with whomever (don't worry Oreo, I won't steal Edward away) you chose. You aren't just limited to Edward or Emmett or whomever.

So, I think I'll go with the premise from the last Twilight OOC. It starts after the second book and instead of Edward having returned to Bella, she had to live her live without him until she remeets him at college.

Meanwhile, two mysterious girls have been sent to whichever college we choose and are searching for the Cullens because they've had way too much exposure and even having Bella know about them could be dangerous to humanity.

Was just a suggestion, and I was talkinga bout the Vampire series having a similar theme of vampires that avoided feeling on humans maintained a closer touch with their humanity. Princess was asking how to avoid being to 'fan fiction'ish, and it was an idea to combine some of the other vampire themed books.

I like the ideas you've come up with Princess and just want good RP!

Species:Slayer

Bio/history: Stephanie comes from a line of vampire slayers. Her great great great grandparents were there to help lead the treaty for the werewolves and the 'cold ones'. She knows all about the history of the Cullens and the Black and their...disdain for one another. She doesn't really favor either side but since the werewolves and slayers of her family have a much stronger pact she tolerates werewolves. When she isn't out saving the world from bloodsuckers, Stephanie is attempting to have a normal life though slaying always seems to get in the way of this. Also, ironically enough she has a vampire fetish which always seems to get her in trouble now and again.

Abilities: stake, telepathy, being able to block vampires from reading her mind

Alignment: Nuetral, she just kills vampires. Although she could be the good girl..

Eek! I forgot, we kind of have to wait til Intriguess gets back or just start out with our intro post so that no one gets lost...

But the schedule for posting is not gonna happen. I think that instead I just ask that no one jumps too far ahead so that everyone can keep up.

Right now, all we should put up is our intro posts and not post until everyone has done so.

Then after everyone has posted their intro, just make sure to post at least twice a day but no more than that so that no one gets lost.

Two slayers find out that someone who isn't part of the supernatural world knows that the Cullens exist so its their duty to be rid of the Cullens whether its by violence or by just banishing them from the U.S. so that the secret doesn't get leaked out.

Yeah, it's fine. You don't HAVE to post once a day but some people are post whores and feel like they have to put up more than two posts and then everyone who isn't able to post as much get lost and leave. I was just stating that is the limit, two posts a day.
