Chicago Litogether 2009

Hello everyone. I too am flying out this morning after having a wonderful visit with AS2U, which BTW, helped make saying goodbye to all the great people I met a little less painful.

I want to add my thanks to pleaz, sarah and everyone else involved with all that went in to making this happen. And thank you Glynndah for the bookmarks. I'll check back in and try to catch up tonight when I get home.

:rose::kiss::rose:

BIG KUDOS

to Pleaz and Sarahh for all their hard work in planning this wonderful event {bigger and better each year and am already counting the days to Chi4 :D} and Bequ and all the other locals {as well as some non-locals - you Sweet Witch you } that brought all the food - someone needs to remind me next year to eat before I drink please

I'm going to take the time to add my name to the chorus.

HUGE thanks to everyone who spent so much time and effort organizing and who helped with everything from rides to the airport to directions to food.

Pleez and Sarahh are at the head of that list.:kiss: one for each of you.

Thanks also to those like the Good Little Witch of Lit, who were unable to attend yet still contributed.

Many thanks from me too for those that made all this happen and those that contributed who didnt attend (yes I mean YOU Glynndah  ).

I doubt the cold thing is any single influence. We had people interacting from all over the nation. There are bound to be minor strains that had not yet penetrated geographical regions.

It's just like an airplane or kids going back to school. We were all sharing, unintentionally.

I don't think there is a way to avoid it.

And from other nations too...:D

I definitely slept till past noon.

Lucky that I don't have to be at work until 4 today. I need to get myself used to a regular schedule again.

*hugs* to all you people that I'm already missing terribly.

Missing you terribly too..:rose:

all credit goes to my lady for commissioning it and to Wenchie for making it. I am simply the hanger it rides on...

(so why am I so incredibly pleased with all this praise???? :D )

ah, who am I kidding? I love it, I loved the surprise of receiving it and I love the reaction you all gave me wearing it.

...and even I have to admit that I have the "look" for it.

Yes, you do totally have the look for it Will, you just need the lightsabre and you'd be ready to walk straight onto set...

shopping for lightsaber blueprints (I have an urge to make my own) and appropriate boots (brown instead of black, mid-calf to knee) is currently underway. :D

I am also plotting to get Imp into a Dark Jedi outfit. I think she would make a ravishing Mistress of the Sith. Darth Imp.

I think she would also! Of course, she is ravishing on her own too!:D
