Chicago Litogether 2009

I'm readin' the posts seein' if everyone arrived home safely...I guess some folks are still in transit...I'm flyin' out tomorrow morning...so's Jag...we just came back from a steakburger feast and have retired to our respective quarters for the night. It was a distinct pleasure meeting old friends and making a bunch of new ones that I knew only from posts on the AH. Egads, there are a bunch of beautiful women here. :D

Three cheers for sarahhh, pleaz and all the others who made this event possible.:heart::kiss::rose:

LOL yeah this is the first time I've turned on the tv in this room. It is kind of nice to settle in and relax, however eerie at the same time due to the silence of the hotel. You do get used to the high amount of traffic from the party.

At least you should be able to get some rest, then, doll.

It is mighty quiet 'round here. Of course you had the Coffee Bar so your traffic was heavier than most of the rooms. :D Mighty fine coffee it was too.

Yup, thats the problem with long drives. Ya don't mind em so much when you're looking forwards to your destination, but they are mighty hard en route home.

LMAO yeah had a bit of traffic here

*sigh* I miss everyone already. :(

I felt some connections to people I didn't expect to connect with. I loooooooved that. So I really do miss everyone. Wonderful people at these things.

Hope everyone who went home today made it home safe. :rose:

I made it back home as well.

Thank you all for one absolutely amazing weekend. :rose:

Wait! People are home already? *looks around confused*
Where the hell AM i?
And who is this brazilian man in my bedroom????

I know what you mean. It took forever to get home. Of course, the stopped traffic on the highway didn't help. Seems some guy had wandered onto the roadway and had gotten himself injured. Paramedics, fire and police vehicles were working on him for some time. Lost an hour there. Poor guy.

I made the time up, though. ;)

Glad you ladies made it home safely. I was a treat seeing you both again; and lovely as ever if I must say.:kiss:

Withdrawal ain't pretty...I was doing okay until it hit me that starting tomorrow the thing I've had to look forward to won't be there.

*cries*

Anyone have any idea when the bear is supposed to land?

He wasn't leaving for the airport until 3, so figure he allowed himself plenty of check-in time, that would mean his flight was around 5:30-6. Then it's about a 4 hour flight, followed by drive home from the airport.

I'd say you're going to be sound asleep before he gets home

It was really good finally meeting you too Maggie, we never did get to talk about Dewey or any of the other things we wanted to did we?

Same here Mark. No we didn't do any of those things. Next time we meet I get first dibs on your time. ;)

:D

Oh I know what you mean.

Btw, I love you. You were so fabulous. I can't wait to see you again! Don't forget to pm me about the belly dancing demo. I need more universal yummy. :D

If you talk real nice to me, I'll send you a copy. It's the least I can do after the wonderful attention I received under your amazing and talented hands.
You don't have to do that, but if you do I want it signed so I can put it up prominently on my bookshelf. :)

Those two ladies need to take a serious bow.
Agreed. I saw the time, effort, and stress level Pleaz put into this, and trust me she deserves many kudos (I know Sarahh did as well, although I wouldn't know as much about it on account of her BLOWING ME OFF......just kidding, sweety :rose: ).

I just arrived home.

I want to apologize to everyone for involving them in something that I had no right to involve them in. It was childish and stupid of me.

Glad you got home safe Rob, I dont know what happened but am pretty sure there are no hard feelings...
